Johnny's POV

I woke up to the sound of the microwave beeping. For some reason, I felt more energized and happier than when I usually wake up. I walked out the door with a smile on my face. Kaylee was sitting on the couch eating a slice of pizza.

"You seem awfully cheery this morning," She said with a mouth full of pizza.

"I know right? It's the best I've slept in ages," I cheered.

"Well," she started, "maybe it's because of what happened yesterday."

I panicked. How did she know? But then I remembered that I told her last night. We didn't actually have an appointment to the spa. She just dragged me home to pester me with questions.

"Shut up. It was just a kiss. Nothing more," I said. It kind of hurt when I said it but I didn't pay it any attention.

"Are you sure? Because I remember that you liked him," She teased.

"That was years ago. It's been way too long of a time to hold on to someone," I answered.

"Maybe he didn't really leave your heart. He just hid," She chimed. Then she winked at me.

I was drinking my hot cocoa when she suddenly ran to the bathroom. I panicked and rushed to the door.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" I asked as I felt my motherly instincts kick in. I know, I'm male but males can be motherly too.

"I'm fine," She said as she opened the door. "I just wanted to be first in the bathroom today," She sang then closed the door before I could say anything. Damn it.

She took an hour in the bathroom.

"Took you long enough," I said a little aggravated.

"Oh shush. You take longer than that," She answered then rushed to her bedroom. "And hurry up! We're going to be late!" She bellowed through the condo.

I went in and closed the door. As I walked into the bathroom, I noticed that there's a scent of vanilla in the air. She probably switched her body wash. I turned on the shower, made the temperature to cold (I like the cold) and played music on my iPod. As I was singing to Alicia keys' "ain't got you" I opened the shampoo bottle and squirted some of it on my head. Shampooing is one of my favorite parts of taking a shower because I could design my hair into any shape I want and there are bubbles everywhere! After that, I rinsed it off and scrubbed my body with my body wash. Finally, I used my conditioner for my hair. I rinsed off my hair and body at once and dried off. Then I pulled open the drawer under the sink and pulled out my facial wash. I wet my face and rubbed my face gently. I rinsed my face and dried it off. Finally, I put on my clothes and headed out.

"Kaylee, let's go!" I called.

"Coming!" She bellowed.

We were walking towards the elevator when Kaylee said that I forgot to brush my hair. I told her that it's fine. I was just too lazy to do it. We stepped in the elevator and pressed the button for the lobby. It went down one floor and opened up. To my dismay and little joy, Martin walked in with his big stupid grin.

"Hey guys. You late too?" He asked cheerfully.

"Yeah," Kaylee started, "because this guy takes forever in the shower."

"How long?" He asked me.

"A-about an hour and a half..." I mumbled

"Oh, interesting," He replied.
