We stayed quiet for the rest of the class. It was fine because Martin was super happy. This made me happy too. The bell rang and we packed up our stuff. I walked on ahead.

"Johnny!" He called.

"You still want to go with me to the library?" I asked.

"Yeah. Didn't think you could get rid of me that easily did you?"

I laughed at him. He was so adorable. Wait, what?

He followed behind me humming love on top by Beyonce. Funny, I always thought he was a classic rock kind of guy.

"Hey, I didn't know you were into Beyonce," I said.

"Oh, I'm not. I just memorized it for you..." He said quietly. His cheeks turned a little pink.

"Why did you do that?" I asked curiously.

"To impress you," He mumbled.

"You don't need to do that you dummy."

"Yeah, but I felt like it cause I'm your dummy," He smiled.

"Nope. We're just friends," I stated.

"Yeah, keep telling yourself that."

Confident assbutt.

We arrived at the library and it was deserted. Well, the librarian was there but she's asleep. I headed to the restricted section of the library and looked for the book that Kaylee told me about. It's a book called Daredivine. What kind of book is that?

"What're you picking up from the restricted sections?" Martin asked, a hint of concern in his voice.

"Don't worry," I assured him, "it's just a note from Kaylee."

"You guys pass notes through the restricted sections?" He asked sounding bewildered.

"Yeah," I answered. Then I found it. I opened it up and took the note out.

"What's it say?" He asked.

"I'll be sleeping over at a friend's house. Have fun by yourself," I read aloud.

"So you'll be alone?" He asked me.

"Yeah, why do you ask?"

"Well, I was wondering if I could come over," He said quietly.

"No."

"Why not? I won't do anything. Besides didn't you say we're friends? Well friends have sleepovers you know," He stated.

"I don't trust you, you pervert."

"Ouch. I'm not a perv. Please?" He pleaded.

He had these adorable puppy dog eyes and pouting lips. I just couldn't resist.

"Oh fine."

"Yes!" He cheered.

"But you're sleeping on the floor," I told him.

"That's alright," He smiled.

We walked out of the school and stayed by the gates for a few minutes.

"So... You want to get ice cream?" I asked.

"Nah, I'm kind of cold," He said as he put his hands in his pockets.

"Aw, but-but-"

"I have a better idea," He sang.

"What could be better than ice cream?" I asked. Cause seriously, what's better?

"Videogames," He said as rubbed his hands together.

"I'm listening..."

"Super smash bros. 4" He whispered in my ear.

"Oh! Oh! I call Kirby!" I screamed. He jumped away in surprise which I couldn't help but laugh at.

"Alright, but I'll beat you with Mario!" He told me.

"No way!" I declared.

"I'll race you home," He challenged.

"Game! One, two, three!"

Hey guys! How are you?

Is the story good so far?

I should probably introduce my editor since you might be confused about her. She's "natty-chan". At least that's what she likes to be called.

Have fun reading!

Fun fact: All my friends when I was a kid were imaginary. I was alone, but not lonely! :)
