"Okay class, we have a new student. His name is Johnny Fischer. Welcome him warmly into our family!" the teacher said.
I sat down in the seat that's farthest from the door. Beside me was a girl who had short hair. "Hey, nice to meet you." the girl said.
"Nice to meet you too." I replied.
"My name's Kaylee. And you're Johnny." She smiled. She seems a bit too happy in the morning.
The teacher started telling us about the rules and policies. I didn't really pay any attention. A cute boy caught my eye. Whenever he turns to look at me, I look away. I just couldn't help staring at him. I can only see the side of his face, but it was gorgeous.
"Class, pair up! We're doing trust exercises." the teacher ordered.
I just sat down on my desk, waiting for the teacher to pair me up with who's left. To my surprise, the cute boy walked up to me and tapped my shoulder.
"Want to be my partner?" He asked.
"I'd love to be your partner." I answered.
"Great! By the way, I saw that you were staring at me." He whispered. My face grew hotter and he laughed.
"Dummy..."
