Fuck you, Louis.
That's the last thing I remember saying that night when Louis and I finally decided to call an end to our nearly beginning friendship.
Well, I guess it was only me, but he seemed to be going along with it.
It's been a few weeks after that recent argument, if you must say, and things have been going smoothly. We've all just been one happy group of friends. With the exception of a certain someone. The whole situation didn't stop me from buying that carton of ice cream for his adorable little son. I had dropped it of one day and annoyingly, Kelsey opened the door - wearing one of his t-shirts, of course - and I just gave her the box before she started bashing me. Actually, that was the only time I spoke to his father. Well, texted. It was just to make sure Mason got his gift.
Every time we all decided to hang around as a group, Louis and I pretty much ignored each other. No eye contact, no vocal exchange, nothing. It's even worse when his skank girlfriend comes around. Surprisingly, no tension is felt. The feelings are mutual.
Harry dragged me back to gym along with Niall. Our friendship has been increasing and we even got Liam to tag along sometimes, even though the fucker is genetically gifted and has a perfect toned body. Lucky bastard.
Speaking of Harry, him and that Nicole girl he met at the club had a pregnancy scare. Apparently, Louis and I weren't the only ones who got it on that night. But she's pretty cool, we started seeing more of her and I'm just glad to have another girl hanging out with us.
Malik and I have been working on our assignment, but unfortunately we haven't really gotten much evidence or leads. But our weekly stakeouts have been giving us a chance to get to know each other. Sweet guy, he is.
Landon and I have been on a couple dates and they couldn't have gone any better. He pampers me like no other. Dinner dates - 5 star restaurants, may I say, top notch charity events, extravagant gifts, and he even landed some amazing, front-row, Luke Bryan tickets. Not a huge fan of country music, but that man is fine, and some of his tunes are pretty catchy. As much as it freaks me out, I think I'm actually starting to grow feelings for this guy. He's handsome and he's just the sweetest thing out there. No wonder he's New York's most eligible bachelor.
Hopefully that can change to was New York's most eligible bachelor
***.
The phone screen flashed with a text message from Landon as I applied the last few coats of mascara.
**I'm out front. Do I head on up or are you ready to roll?**
Niall was firing up the grill and he has invited us to have lunch over at his house. Landon offered to take me and he even pitched that we'd head on over to his house for a movie night right after. The offer seemed appealing, so I took it.
After placing my feet in a comfortable pair of grey Sperry's that Liam always seems to be giving me shit about, I head out the door and down the elevator in no time. That familiar fancy car is waiting out front and as soon as I open the door, that gorgeous smile appears with my sight. I cant help but feel those ferocious butterflies fly in my stomach. The looks of this guy are breath-taking.
Hopping into the leather seat, I reach my body over and give him a quick peck on the lips.
"Hmm," he hums with a smile after the contact of my lips on his, "Don't you look pretty today?"
My eyes roll as he sets the car into drive and begins to move. I could feel the heat rush to my cheeks at his lovable comment.
"Oh shut up! It's not like you haven't seen me in jeans and a simple long sleeve before,"
