(YN) POV
We were on a train heading to Edmonton to take Makanai to the elections. Since we had to avoid Gjallerhorn this was the best way. I sat looking out the window to as we rode through Alaska.
"It's so white" Ride said lowly but I could still hear him
"What is it" I could hear some of the younger kids ask.
"It's snow, since we're in Alaska there's a lot of it"
"What's snow"
"Well I can't really explain, but it's kinda like rain but because the temperature is so low it the water vapor turns into crystals" I tried my best to explain
"That's amazing" they all began to ask more questions in excitement
"Come on guys, leave (YN) alone" Akihiro shooed all the kids away before sitting across from me. It was nice to not be fighting for once and just relax.
"Since we're on Earth have you thought about seeing your folks" Akihiro asked
"I've never really thought about it, they'd probably have a fit when they see me" I chuckled a bit
"You really think that"
"No doubt my dad's gonna be mad that I left, my mom would be happy that I'm safe at least"
"Sound like complete opposites"
"They are, makes me wonder how they even got together"

"I'll see you later Akihiro" I decided to see if Nadi needed help. Since I got injured the last time we encountered Gjallerhorn, he hasn't been letting work on as many mobile suits. Since my injuries weren't that bad he was kind of lenient but still a bit cautious. On the way, I happen to run into Orga
"How you liking Earth so far"
"If we weren't being chased by Gjallerhorn, I'd probably like it more"
We laughed for a bit before finally making it to Nadi. Looks like he was going through inventory with Merribit.
"How's it coming along old man"
"Well it seems the fiber suits we brought with us are all ready" Nadi said
"They're currently working on the 20 units we got in Anchorage through Teiwaz" Merribit added
"None of them came with an Alaya-Vijnana system so I'm not sure how effective they're going to be"
"If they don't have the system, maybe I can drive one" I chimed in
"You know how to drive a mobile worker" Nadi asked
"It can't be that difficult can it, I'm sure it's like driving a car"
"No way"
"Come on Orga, it shouldn't be that hard"
"That's not what I mean. Last time I let you out there you got hurt, I can't let that happen"
"A little scratch isn't going to stop me,
"(YN) I don't think that's a good idea" Merribit said
"For once I agree with Merribit, you're not going out there"
"The cities have strict rules about having Ahab reactors in them"
"I know but that doesn't mean you're going to be the one driving a mobile worker"
