"braxton, where's your sister?" alana asks her eldest son.

he shrugs his shoulders and keeps playing with his cousins, levi and jaida. today is paige's, alana and alycia's only daughter, birthday and to say alana is stressed would be an understatement.

she rolls her eyes before leaving the room and running straight into alycia who is holding a sleeping dylan. she smiles at the two of them as she quickly places a kiss on the sleeping boys head before leaving to go downstairs. alycia puts her youngest son into his crib before following her wife downstairs, finding her talking to eliza and chloe.

"are we doing the cake?" alycia asks, wrapping her arms around alana's waist.

"we will as soon as we find the birthday girl" alana responds with a sigh as she runs her hand through her long hair.

the couple walk outside to find paige and kyla playing in the dirt. alana groans and rubs her hand on her forehead while alycia laughs and grabs the two girls and takes them into the bathroom to clean them up. alana goes upstairs and sends all the children downstairs to sit around the table.

once everyone is downstairs and clean, everyone sings paige happy birthday before she blows out her candles and alycia helps her cut the cake.

"you touched the bottom" chloe calls out, "you gotta kiss the closest boy"

alana raises her eyebrows at chloe who just raises her hands in defence before she looks at paige who leans in and kisses her brother on the cheek. alana smiles at the pair while her wife takes a photo of them on her iphone.

'how did i get so lucky?' is the only thing that alana can think. she has an amazing wife with incredible kids. they have a beautiful house with an adorable dog and the best friends ever. they all had children around the same time so a lot of them are the same age and will grow up together which alana loves. she never would've pictured her life turning out this way but she is so grateful that it did.

alana and alycia adopted four beautiful children, braxton, paige, phoenix and cody while they have one child through ivf, charlotte 'charlie', in honour of alana's younger brother who passed.
eliza and chloe adopted twins levi and kyla while marie sand quincy had three children together, jaida, caden and indiana.
bob and his girlfriend, arryn, have two children, asher and cora. lindsey and nadia adopted three children, juliette, axel and ellie as well as fostering three other children, nevaeh, anastasia and braiden.
devon and his wife, alexandra, have two girls together, ruby and lilah while chris and carla only have one, aria. tasya adopted aaleyah and ricky and kirstina have two boys, leo and flynn

they're all like one big family. their kids all go to the same school and are always hanging out with each other and alana wouldn't have it any other way.

she turns to look at alycia, who is too busy, fussing over the cake to notice, and quickly kisses her cheek causing the girl to grin at her and kiss her back.

"gross, get a room" braxton yells, causing everyone to laugh and for alycia to ruffle his hair. she's so lucky, extremely lucky.
