alana smiles to herself as she looks at her closest friends. she doesn't know how she got so lucky to have such amazing people in her life, but she wouldn't change it for the world. she notices how happy everyone else looks as well. the smiles on all their faces, that reach their eyes and their laughs that fill her with joy.
she doesn't know what she would've done the past year if she didn't have all these amazing people by her side. nadia, chloe, eliza, lindsey, marie and obviously alycia, are the most important people in her life and they're all sitting around the table right now, as well as marie's boyfriend who she only just met.
nadia and lindsey are finally dating and chloe and eliza have gone public with their relationship. alana and alycia are also dating again which made fans ecstatic when they told everyone. it was hard for alana to overcome the past as she honestly didn't know if alycia was telling the truth or not, but she's happy they're back to where they use to be.
"hey, do you want to get out of here?" alycia whispers to alana who nods in response.
alana grabs her things while alycia tells the group an excuse for why they suddenly have to leave. chloe and eliza give alycia a knowing look since they know what's about happen and what alycia has been planning for the past few weeks.
alana grabs alycia's hand as they leave the booth and say goodbye to their friends before they leave the club. the pair make small talk as they walk down the footpath next to the beach with the sun setting.
"let's go to the beach" alycia suddenly says and alana's eyes widen in shock.
"right now?" she asks and alycia nods before pulling alana down the hill and onto the sand.
"it's beautiful" alycia states as she looks at the lowering sun.
"yeah" alana agrees, but she wasn't talking about the sun as she looks at her girlfriend, her face glowing slightly from the suns reflection.
"alana" alycia says, gaining her girlfriend's attention, "I love you"
"I love you, too"
"no, like, i really love you. you have been there for me when no one else was. you have made me feel things no one else has and i know we've gone through some rough patches but i haven't felt this happy in a long time. you make me feel happy and complete and like I don't need anyone or anything else" alycia tells her girlfriend who is now trying to hold back her tears. "I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you"
alana gasps as alycia goes down on one knee and pulls out the ring she had picked out for alana with the help of her future mother in-law. the tears are now flowing down alana's face as alycia's heart pounds in her chest as she waits for alana's answer.
"yes! a million times yes"
alycia grins as she stands up and with shaky hands she slips the engagement ring on Alana's left hand. alana grabs alycia's face and smashes her lips against her own. her tongue swipes against alycia's bottom lip as the kiss becomes heated, tugging on her bottom lip lightly when she pulls away.
