Strange Feelings

Highschool AU

Tomorrow was the prom night and I still didn't had a date, not like I wanted one. The last time I had a date, it was with an asshole who only wanted to make love to me.

I'm reading on a bench in the park when someone pat my shoulder. I look behind me and see my blond friend, Garfield Logan. He is the most childish guy I know but also the most gorgeous one. Gar is a prankster and a good one. He has blond messy hair and green emerald eyes. Every time I'm around him, I feel something weird, an emotion I can't identify. I give him a small smile.

He sits down next to me with a hand behind his back. Garfield grins at me as he motions me to stop reading so I place my book in my bag. All my attention was on him now. He looked away with a blush on his beautiful face.

"I wanted to ask you something Rae" he starts. I look at him with hope in my ocean blue eyes. He sigh. The blond teenager show me his other hand. He had a black rose in his hand. I gasp and carefully took it. My friend smiles at my reaction and chuckles. I look at him with a bright smile and see him scoot closer to me. He place one of his hands on my cheek and the other hand on my waist. I came closer too and he kissed me.

My first kiss but also his first kiss. Garfield kissed me gently. We broke apart and loses our selfs in each other's eyes. I placed my lips on his. We pulled away again. "Will you be my girlfriend?" Gar asks me.

I giggle and nod with a big smile on my face. He hugs me and I quickly hug him back.

"Does this means I'm not going to the prom alone?" I ask him as we pull away.

"I'm not letting you go alone... will you go to the prom with me Rachel?" I giggle and kiss him on the cheek.

"Of course I will" I jump in his arms.

I now know what was this thing I felt whenever I saw or even thought about Gar. It was love, I am madly in love with him.
