Jealousy

He was jealous, always jealous. Either of the incredible friendship of Robin and his best friend Cyborg or, of course, of Aqualad's charisma and ease to charm the girls like Raven. Beast Boy had feelings for the empath and every time he would see her in another guy's arms, the rage would take over him.

The green changeling was sitting on his bunk bed, staring at a picture of Robin and Cyborg and at another one of Raven and Aqualad. You could easily see the anger boiling inside of the boy. Garfield sent the first picture in the trash.
He looked at the second one, the one he hated the most. Beast Boy teared the picture in two. One of Aqualad ans another on Raven. He teared the picture of Aqualad apart but, kept the one of Raven. He was about to break something in his bedroom, like a lamp, but, he was stopped by a knock on the door.

"Get away!" The green boy said. The door suddenly opened and his emerald eyes widened. It was none other than the half demon.

She sat next to him on the bed. A small smile was on her pale and beautiful face. "Are you okay?" He nodded at the girl.

The silence filled the room until Garfield broke it. "Can I ask you a question?"

"Of course you can, what is it?"

He gulped and looked away. "Have you..." The green boy stared, hesitantly. "H-Have you... ever been... Jealous before?" Raven stared at him with her amethyst eyes.

She gulped too and took a deep breath. "I suppose I did, I mean... everyone become jealous at least one time in their whole life. That its about money or a relationship or even someone's entire life. It's still normal... it's only human"

The young logan felt better. Her words calmed him down a bit. "But... have you ever been jealous of someone? If you tell me who I'll tell you who am jealous of" Her purple eyes widened but, she nodded her head.

"I-I think that... I was hum" Raven was looking everywhere but, never at him, feeling embarrassed. "Jealous of T-Terra? I-I don't know. Now tell me who you're jealous of!"

"Fish face"

The purple haired teen frowned. "Aqualad? Why? You have nothing to be jealous of about him... He smells like fish" What she said made Beast Boy chuckle.

"He gets all the girls without any effort... he even got you" She huffed.

"Is this really how you see him?" He nodded again, in shame. "Cause it's not how things really are" It was his turn to have wide eyes. "He wants to hit and run and the girls he gets wants the same thing. I am not one of them, I don't even like him anyway and I don't want a one night stand, I want a serious relationship with someone who loves and respect me. Someone able to make me smile and laugh. This is reality Gar, not what you just said"

"I-I thought that-" The demoness interrupted him by shaking her head to say "No". The green boy sighed. "I'm sorry"

Raven placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't be" He smiled at her.

She stood up and started leaving, making him realize that it was his chance. So he decided to go for it. Garfield ran to Raven, turned her around and pressed his green lips on her grey ones. The cloaked girl had wide eyes, she was extremely shocked. He was kissing her, Beast Boy was kissing her. After some seconds, the girl finally relaxed and kissed him back.

Sometimes, we are jealous of people who seems to have a beautiful life or good at everything but, sometimes, we are only imagining it. We don't know their real and entire life. Maybe they do seem happy to us but, it doesn't mean that they are. We are jealous when we really shouldn't be, when there's no reason to be. Some people are jealous of their idols life while others are jealous of their idols body. They start to complex and try to look exactly like them when, in reality, they are beautiful like they are already. So, love yourself and know that even if people's life on social medias looks beautiful, they aren't since they won't ever show you their worst picture or the bad things in their life, they only shows you the best.
