You Have To Let Go...

Beast Boy was sitting on the edge of the T-Tower, his leggings hanging in the void. He had just came back from Tara's school.

The cloaked Titan silently sat next to him. "Is there anyone that could make her remember?" He asked her. She glanced at him from the corner of her eyes.

"I can" His emerald green eyes widened in shock and hope and a big smile was plastered on his face. "Reallyyy?" The half demon nodded her head before giving him the worst answer she could've gave him at that moment, at least from his point of view. "But I won't do it" His smile quickly disappeared and was replaced by an annoying look on his green face.

"Whyyyy?"

She sighed in annoyance. "She's happy now-"

Beast Boy interrupted her. "She was happy before too-"

"You think so? 'Cause I don't" He frowned his eyebrows in confusion. "She suffered... Do you want her to remember how she broke your heart? How she betrayed us for a mad man? How she tried to kill us? How she practically killed us? How she was tortured by Deathstroke? How Slade manipulated her? Or even how she destroyed and hurt a lot of people? She is better now than before Beast Boy... believe me" The changeling was going to protest, but he didn't knew what to say. "If you had the chance to live a normal, if you were in her position... would you take it? 'Cause I know I would!" He sighed.

"I would" He sniffed. "I'm sorry, but you have to let go... You have to let her go, it's better for everyone, trust me" Gar slowly nodded his head in defeat. She was right, Tara was happy now and him entering in her life again was a bit selfish of him. She was happy with her friends as a normal teenage girl, he didn't want her to be sad or anything because of what she had done to them. There's somethings that are better not to remember of. "I hate to say this, but you're right Rae... thanks, I know that you don't consider yourself good at feelings so it really makes me happy that you still tried to make me feel better. Plus it did work... It might take some time, but I will let her go" She gave him a small smile and he grinned happily. Garfield stood up and started leaving before turning around and look at her. "You should smile more often. You're even more beautiful when you do" Raven blushed at the green Titan's comment and looked away. She heard the door close and left out a breath she hadn't noticed she was holding.
