A/N: Since it was my birthday, I decided to do a little chapter about Gar's birthday!

It was Beast Boy's birthday and the Titans were throwing him a surprise party. "Star, take care of the decorations. Cy, you take care of the food" Robin told the others.

"On it" Cyborg said, before going to the kitchen.

"Rae, you... uh... you take care of the guests. I'll take care of the gifts" Raven sighed in annoyance and walked out of the common room.

The young girl was sitting on her bed as she stared to call the guests. It was at least 2 AM.

Someone answered her call. "Hello?" It was Aqualad. "Oh, it's you"

Raven rolled her amethyst eyes at the dumb fish face. "Yes, it's me. I need to talk to Bumblebee"

"Don't you wanna talk about our date before?"

The demoness growled at him as her eyes turned bloody red. "Our date? WHAT THE HECK GARTH? Okay, name me one girl who would like to go on a date with with a guy that smells like fish like you, ONE girl!"

He rolled his entirety black eyes and huffed. "You of course"

She loose her patience. Her other set of eyes opened and her voice became extremely creepy and scary. "WHY WOULD I WANT TO GO ON A F****** DATE WITH YOU IF I DON'T EVEN APPRECIATE YOU, in fact... I HATE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!" Raven hanged up the phone and tried to calm down.

The cloaked teen took a deep breath and heard a knock on her door. The door opened and Robin entered in panic. "Raven! Are you okay? I heard you scre-yell, I heard you yelling!" Raven took the boy blunder's communicator and placed it in his hands. "You take of it, I don't have time for this bull****" She stood up and walked out of her dark bedroom.

The next morning, everyone was in the common room, waiting for Beast Boy to arrive. Once he did, they all yelled "SURPRISE", making the changeling scream in shock. He then started to look around the room. The balloons, the gifts, the guests, the confettis, the big banner with "Happy Birthday Beast Boy" write on it and, finally, he saw it, the cake with 17 candles on the top of it. The whole time, when Beast Boy was looking around, the others were all wishing him an happy birthday, but he couldn't hear them. As he stared at the cake the memories came back rushing into his mind, his birthday, his parents, the boat, everything. The green boy ran out of the room and to the rooftop.

The other Titans glanced at each others, wondering what had just happened. Well, all except one. Raven had already left the room, running after the green teenager.

She opened the door of the roof and saw him, his legs dangling in the void. The half demon sat next to him, she stared at him with confusion and sadness in her abnormal purple eyes. He didn't want to look at the girl. "Beast Boy, are you alright? What happened? Why did you ran away?"

What Garfield was seeing wasn't the same thing as her, he wasn't seeing a blue sky and the amazing ocean, no, all he was seeing was horror.

—Gar's Vision—

Marie and Mark were in front of him and they looked extremely disappointed. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" When he had heard that, he had saw himself in front of the cake with his parents, blowing the 5 candles.

Then he saw himself on the boat. "Sweetheart, are you alright?" Marie asked him. He shook his head. "I'm scared" Mark placed his hand on his son's small shoulder. "Don't be scared, nothing bad's gonna happen. Trust me Garfield"

He was in front of his parents again, surrounded in black. "What happened?" His mom asked him.

"Do you remember?" He saw the boat accident "Why did you ran away?" and himself fly away without them.

"You left us there!" His father said.

"YOU COULD'VE SAVED US!" The woman continued. Beast Boy kept on seeing these memories again and again and again until he came back to his senses.

—Reality—

"Gar? GAR?" Raven said as she snapped her fingers in front of his gorgeous face.

"What? Who?"

The purple haired girl moved closer to the boy. "Garfield... are you okay?" He made a fake smile and nodded, but she fave him the Don't-Take-Me-For-A-Fool-And-Don't-Even-Try-To-Lie-To-Me-Face.

He sighed. "Okay... honestly, I don't feel good... not at all" The green changeling looked away in shame.

"Why? What's wrong?"

"This!" He gestured to themselves. "This is wrong" Beast Boy pointed to door, meaning that the others and party was wrong too. "Who's idea was it anyway?" He rolled his emerald green eyes too.

Raven looked ashamed of herself. She gulped and looked away from him. "I may have gave this idea to Robin... I'm sorry" She stared at him straight in the eyes, pleading for forgiveness.

He caressed her cheek, making her flinch at the sudden touch. "Its okay" Raven suddenly had a vision of his past and precisely, his parents death. He quickly backed away as he saw the vision too. Gar looked away again. "You didn't know"

"I am so so sorry... I thought tha-"

"That it would make me happy? Just knowing that you wanted to make me happy makes my birthday way better then it usually is... and I know it seems weird, but... thanks Rae. At least you tried" He grinned at her and she gave him a small smile.

After that, every year, his birthday was even better and more enjoyable than the one before since he had his Rae Rae by his sides to cheer him up. The love of his life...
