My Valentine

Beast Boy was in his bedroom, wrapping up a gift for his crush. When he finished with that, he stood up and grabbed the little box. The green boy grabbed the blue roses too. "I hope she'll say yes" He smiled nervously as he left his bedroom and headed for Raven's. He knocked at her door. "Raven? Are you there?" No response. "Raveeenn?" Still nothing.

Robin passed next to him with an annoyed look on his face. "She's on the rooftop" Beast Boy smiled happily and was about to run up the stairs, but he turned around.

"Dude, you good? You seem a bit... annoyed"

The boy wonder sighed in defeat. "I don't know what to do okay! I want to ask Star to be my valentine, but I know she'll say no" The changeling rolled his emerald eyes at his leader.

"Believe me, she'll say yes. The one that should worry here is me, I mean I want to ask Rae to be my valentine when I know she certainly hates me" Garfield stared at the ground in sadness. Robin grinned at his friend and placed his hands on his shoulders.

BB looked up. "She'll say yes, believe me" He smiled again and started to run to the rooftop while saying "Thanks dude" to the leader.

When he was there, he slowly pushed the door open and saw Raven sitting on the edge, legs hanging in the emptiness. He tried not to make to much noise as she seemed to be in deep thoughts. "Beast Boy I know your there... what do you want?" He gave a nervous laugh. The demoness stood up and he quickly hid the gift and the roses. She walked up to him and crossed her arms. "What are you hiding?" Another nervous chuckle. She gave him a look that clearly meant that she was suspicious. 'Is it another annoying prank of his? Or maybe-' She was interrupted in her thoughts.

The boy took a deep breath. "I know I may be annoying sometimes and I know that you certainly hate me, after all I can be really childish and I know this annoys you but-" The part where he said that she hated him, made her amethyst eyes go wide and it made her feel sad.

"I don't hate you" He looked up at her with hope and happiness in his green eyes.

"Reaallyyy?" The half demon nodded and gave the green boy a small smile. She nodded again, but this time for him to continue. "Oh yeah uhhh... I know I may be annoying sometimes and childish and I know-I'm sure of it...you deserve what's best and I know that I clearly am not what's best, but I'm still gonna ask... Raven? Will you be my valentine?" Her eyes had widened at the moment she had realized what was really happening. She froze in shock. "A answer would be great" He suggested nervously and shamefully.

She came back to her senses and slowly started to nod her head. "O-Of course I'll be your valentine, but don't say that you're not what's best for me okay? 'Cause I am not good enough for you... I mean, your kind, sweet, caring, funny... while me, well I am me"

"Your the most beautiful girl I've ever met Rae. You're kind and you care about others too. Damn you're ready to do anything to help and save others... You're always there for us, you're seriousness is there to get us back on earth when we're too much high in the sky. Look, what am tryin' to say is... I love you Rae" He took out the flowers and the gift. She gasped in shock and grinned at the changeling.

"They're so beautiful thank you" She unwrapped the gift and gasped again. It was a little box in the form of a Raven. Half of it was purple, half of it was green. The eyes colour of the raven was red. She opened it and saw a picture of her and Gar inside it. "Beast Boy, it's so beautiful. Oh Azar, thank you" She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him. He quickly hugged back and he heard her whisper something in his ear that made him grin happily from ear to ear.

"I Love You..."
