The beating greg gave to steven was so brutal that the doctors in the hospital stated if steven was a normal 7 year old human being and not a gem hybrid he would have died from two punches and greg gave him 30+ punches!! along all the kicking and throwing him to the wall
Steven stayed on that coma for 8 months, all thought every doctor at the hospital knew that greg was the one who did this to the poor kid but non told the police just because they saw steven as a freak like everyone who knew steven's identity did and were making fun of him while he was unresponsive
They would make fun of his "magical bellybutton".However,the day before his coma ended, his body glowed bright pink and his little body turned into a muscler body and he was as tall as pearl is.
When he woke up the next day his eyes were also different,they were pink with diamond shaped pupils and his gem was shaped differently,it was an upside down diamond shape gem and maybe the most impressive change that happened to him,steven was feeling far stronger and smarter than he ever was
"Hum,so that's the side effect of being a gem hybrid... I shall not let father get away with all the pain he put me through,i will make you suffer,greg" said the all new all mighty steven
Steven jumped outta his hospital room before anyone could enter after he wore his clothes,he now had the ability to jump really high and really far as well as the ability to control the speed of his fall and even stop it at all... Unfortunately for him the gems were on a mission right beside the hospital and he was seen by them
