"Felix! Wake up! You're going to be late for school!" his mom called from the kitchen downstairs, "Your eggs are have gotten cold too! You better hurry up!"

Felix's eyes flew open in shock locking onto his alarm clock immediately.

7:30...

7:30!?

He had to leave in ten minutes!

Felix quickly grabbed his glasses from his bedside table and put them on to get ready. First, he got changed into some clean clothes. Which was harder said than done. Felix hasn't done laundry in a while so he had to search his whole room for a shirt that didn't smell like something died in it. But while changing into his favourite pair of ripped black skinny jeans his foot got caught in one of the pre-ripped holes and ripped it even wider! The sound of the fabric tearing grated on his ears, but there was nothing he could do about it now, he had no choice but to mourn the pants later. He quickly threw on a white T-shirt that he found before sprinting to the kitchen to scarf down some disgustingly chilly scrambled eggs and pulpy orange juice.

His mother widened her eyes, startled as she took a quick look at Felix's face. She opened her mouth to say something, but he was already dashing back up the stairs to the bathroom only to find an unpleasant surprise awaiting him.

Remember when Felix slipped in the shower yesterday? Yeah, the had fall definitely left a mark. In the form of a black eye!

But that's okay! It's fine! He just has to put his contacts in and then he can just use some foundation to cover it up right? Except that Felix couldn't find his contacts. Where were his contacts!? Suddenly he remembered his mom telling him a week ago that he had to go pick up some replacements. And he was almost out of his foundation too and didn't have enough to cover up his freckles and his black eye!

Felix wanted to scream.

He only had two minutes left to get out the door if he wanted to make it to class on time. After quickly brushing his teeth, Felix made his decision.

"Bye Mom! Love you bye!" Felix yelled as he dashed out the door, not bothering to say goodbye to his dad since the man had already left at this point.

He knocked his shoulder on the door-frame as he exited.

"Why the heck do you have a black eye Felix?" questioned Hyunjin as they walked out of the morning class that they shared on Wednesday.

"And why the heck didn't you wave back to me?" asked Jisung who, to Felix looked as if he appeared out of nowhere, but in reality had walked straight towards them.

Seungmin clapped a hand down on Felix's shoulder causing him to jump, "Are you okay?"

No, Felix was not okay, because, without his glasses or contacts, he could barely see his own hand in front of his face. It was like he was surrounded in a thick fog made of all the shapes and colours blurring together. Felix's eyesight was so bad, his eyes could only focus on an object that was a few centimetres away from his face.

"What? No way Seungmin I'm fine," he said speaking towards the place where Seungmin's voice had just come from.

Without Felix noticing, Seungmin made a gesture towards Hyunjin and Jisung.

"Hey Felix, how many fingers am I holding up?" asked Jisung who currently was walking at the front of the group and holding up five fingers.

While still shuffling towards their next class like the rest of the student body, Jisung and Hyunjin sneakily switched positions.
