A Different End

First Date

Maya POV

Me and Riley went to the mall and had lunch together. She bought me the dress that I'm wearing tonight and I bought her a cute floral dress that she loved when she saw it

( You are going to see Maya dress later, with the whole outfit.)

It was almost 17:00 when me and Riley called a uber, she wanted to help me get dressed and I was ok with so we went to my apartment.

I am very excited for this date and I can't wait to see this "special place" that Lucas is taking me.

I took a shower, curled my hair, made my makeup and then put on my outfit. I am wearing the pretty dress Riley bought me, a jacket full of patches and boots.

It was still early when I finished dressing so me and Riley talked a little and watched f.r.i.e.n.d.s until the hour of my date.

I was happy that Riley left before Lucas get here because it would be very awkward if she hadn't.

Lucas knock my apartment door and I go get it very fast. I open it and he is waiting for me in front of it, holding some flowers.

"Hi Huckleberry!"

"Wow Maya, you are gorgeous"

"Thank you"

"Those are for you ." He say, giving me the pretty flowers bouquet.

"They are very pretty, you have a great taste in flowers."

"Thank you, I think.

"Do you?" He say, very shy.

"Sure, why not?"

I walk closer to him, stand in my tippy toes and we kiss.

Men, Lucas is such a good kisser, we have to do this more often.

"I think I can get use to this" I say.

"Me too" he answer.

Lucas grab my hand and walk to his car.

He open the car door for me and made a sign for me to enter, I enter and he close it.

When we are both in the car sitting, he grab a pink silk sleeping mask.

"Can you please put this on Maya?" He say giving me the mask.

"Sure." I put it on and feel the car moving.

"Why am I wearing this?"

"Because it is a surprise and it will ruin everything if you see the way."

"I don't like surprises."

"I know you don't but it will be worth it at the end. You will love the place."

"Are we already there?"

"Just a few more minutes."

"You have been saying this for the past half an hour."

"We haven't been in the car for even 15 minutes"

"Do you want me to put some music?"

"Of course."

Lucas put on some music and we sing along together.

After a long road, I feel the car stopping, Lucas get out and open my door. He hold my hand and we start walking.

I feel his hand taking out my mask

When he finally take it out I can see the sunset in the see, and a picnic set in the sand.

"Do you like it?" He asks.

"No, I love it." I say and then kiss him.

"You didn't had to do this all for me."

"I wanted to Maya. You are very especial. You deserve everything."

I was pleased, I never thought someone would do this all for me.

"The sunset is so pretty."

"Isn't it?"

We then ate, talked and watched the sunset.

When it was very late Lucas took me back home.

I was so happy when I went to sleep, I couldn't think in something else but Lucas.

This was the first night since my dad left that I slept happy and in peace. Now I know how Riley feels when she goes to sleep, that's why she sleeps so well and peacefully.
