Chapter 7

Hey guys sorry for taking such a long time. I really couldn't think of a proper thing because of the stress. I don't feel content with this chapter but do tell me how it is. At the party it was all just simple. Since the arrangements were already done they had to just arrange for food and drinks. Even Siddharth joined them. Ani ran to him and hugged him while Shivaay felt jealousy run over his veins. He couldn't believe that even he was capable of feeling that.
Ani : sid bhaiyya how r u here.
Sid : obviously malika called me here and even u r here.
Everyone turned towards malika for answers and she was like giving the what did I do look.
Malika : Hey since Anika is in touch with me she used to visit and the both of them bonded so easily. They share a good relationship. Sid is become like the typical brother. Protective and fulfilling her needs even though she's never asked so much.
Om  : what abt the family members?
Malika : well she has this charm tat makes anyone fall in love with her. MY in laws love her so much.
Shivaay : yeah that she does.
Rudy : what??
Shivaay : nothing. (covered up saying) wow melting your mother in law is a tough thing.
Malika : OK guys we stop them and continue with party. Um hello baby even I am present.
Sid : awwww someone is jealous.
Malika : u wish.
He hugged everybody when he came to shivaay they were silent. But without any hesitation Sid hugged shivaay and he too reciprocated shocking everyone.
Soon everyone were involved in their own talks. Om noticed anika looking at shivaay. Anika couldn't help but admire the way his face lit up when he smiled.
Om : ani how long r u gonna lie to us and yourself.
Anika was taken aback.
Anika : huh
Om : Accept it you love shivaay.
Ani : what I don't love him but I already accepted that I like him.
Malika : u like whom.
She asked as she heard half of the conversation. Anika gulped cause she did not tell her best friend this.
Om : That she.......
Anika glared at him and he stopped abruptly. But ru who had just joined the conversation did not her the hint.
Ru : that she likes shivaay bhaiyya.
Sid and mal : what.
Anika glared at rudy and then looked down. While sid and malika were giving her spill the details look.
Malika : u didn't tell this to me I had to hear it from them uh.
Sid : Exactly u could have told us.
Ani : mal.......
Malika : OMG am so happy I used and am shipping u both.
Anika : r u not angry.
Sid : nope cause we r happy for u. I will kill him if he hurts u.
Anika : there will be no need it's not gonna happen. U it can't be true me and him. I am engaged and his thoughts on nkk.
( u all must be wondering where shivaay was he was in a phone call) .
Shivaay too joins them.
Shivaay : Anika can I talk to u in private.
Ru : oho bhaiyya y private.
Shivom  : shut up rudy.
Anika : not interested Mr. Oberoi.
Shivaay : please.
Omrumal : did the sso say please.
Shivaay glared them and they giggled.
Om : Ani go u need to sort out things.
Mal : yes but dont take too much time.
She winked at anika while she gives her a pleading look and walks with shivaay towards the other side.
Sid : can someone explain what's going on.
Mal : well those two had a misunderstanding and she really felt bad by that he did not trust her but trusted tia so she's angry. I don't understand no matter how angry she is on him she helps him out of trouble.
Om : u know the answer mal she loves him but not ready to accept.
Ru : Like bhaiyya is any less.
Om : she is not allowing herself to have any hope.
Ru : now we have a bigggg obstacle daksh bhaiyya people.
Sid : yeah am still angry on her for taking such a decision.
Mal : but she said she did for a reason.
Om : yeah when she spoke to me she was like to confirm something. Dunno what she is upto.
Ru : let's just hope the misunderstanding gets solved.
They all glanced towards them.

Shivaay : Anika..........
Anika : yes Mr. Oberoi can u please tell me what u wanna say.
Shivaay : stop calling me that call me shivaay.
Anika : no thanks I am not your friend but ex wedding planner.
Shivaay : Anika please listen to me u only heard half our conversation that day and you assumed.
Anika : excuse me I assumed that is the joke of the century. U were the one who called me those names.
Shivaay pulled her hand and twisted at her back and pulled her close while her breath hitched. The others were too busy in their talks to notice.
Shivaay : please listen to me I was telling om that day what tia told me about u and nit my opinion. You just heard it from the middle. Please believe I am really very very sorry for hurting u. I know one word cannot compensate the hurt but trust me i mean it sorry anika.
(he saw anika staring at him in surprise)
Y r u looking at me like that.
Anika : Mr oberoi you apologised without any hesitation.
Shivaay : yes whats the big deal.
Anika : it is a big deal u apologised without any hesitation.
Rudy : bhaiyya said that o I think I am dreaming.
Shivaay : what r u doing here I said I wanted to talk to her privately.
Rudy : bhaiyya then y r u holding anika didi.
It was then they realised their position. Om smacked rudy on the head mumbled a sorry and pulled him away.
Anika : wow I am gonna save this day in my calendar.
Shivaay : will u just say if u have forgiven me and can we mend things back to normal.
Anika : stop showing your tadi. Its my wish to forgive u or not.
Shivaay sighed and nodded his head with guilt in his eyes. It was really genuine. She decided to give him another chance.
Anika : it's OK I forgive you Mr Oberoi.
Shivaay : thanks a lot anika.
Saying this he hugged her and Anika went still while sid omru mal mouth dropped open. He then realised what he did and moved back to see anika standing like a statue. He shook her to reality.                                             Shivaay : Can we be friends?
He said putting out his hand. Anika had not recovered from that shock now she was even more shocked. Anika pinched herself to see if she was dreaming or not. Shivaay chuckled at her reaction and called her out again.
Anika : Huh r u sure I am a middle class.
Shivaay : yes and promise I will mend my ideology about nkk.
Anika smiled and was happy that she was trying to change himself. She shook her hands with his.
Anika : OK friends.
They walked back to the rest of them.
Mal : thank God problem got solved.
They were talking when rudy was like.
Rudy: can we play never have I ever not with alcohol but with soft drinks. Everyone agreed and the game started. Malika said the first question then rudy then sid and when it came to Om he winked at anika. And she was surprised this was so unlike him and she knew he is going to give something related to her and shivaay.
Om: never have I liked someone even after being committed / engaged.
Shivaay immediately turned towards om. While anika glared at him and the others gave her a teasing smile. Shivaay was not surprised when anika took a sip but he felt a pang of jealousy in his heart.
Anika : am not giving details.
Sid : come on.
Shivaay : yeah tell us we r your friends.
Anika : no.
When they decided to warp up. Sid and malika left early stating that their mother called immediately. Rudy has dozed off in the couch while om was busy clearing up stuffs. The only person without hesitation was shivaay who was glad. As soon as they were out rudy got up from the couch and gave om a hifi.
Rudy : glad everything is back to normal.

In the car :
Shivaay : Anika can I ask u something.
Anika : sure billuji.
Shivaay : can u tell me about your crush. Not the persons name atleast something.
Anika watched shivaay face change expressions gradually from jealousy to questioning look. She couldn't help but grin. What was she supposed to him when he is the guy. Before she could answer he asked another question in which anika decided to play with him.
Shivaay : is he a celebrity.
Anika : yes he is.
He heaved a sigh of relief and for a moment anika thought he likes her but chided herself for thinking that.
Shivaay : by the way stop calling me billuji I thought we r friends.
Anika : yes we are. What should I call u.
She asked acting innocent.
Shivaay : my name obviously
Anika : no
Shivaay caught hold of her hand and started coming closer.
Shivaay : ok then should I make u say my name like the last time.
Anika started stuttering and he chuckled at her condition.
Anika : u....  Promised we won't talk about that.
Shivaay : OK so call me shivaay. Its not like u did not call a few days back until we had the fight.
Anika : shiv.......
Shivaay : come on.
Anika : shivaay. OK fine happy. Bye good night.
Saying this she ran out of the car and went inside while shivaay drove back with a stupid grin on his face.
