"Sorry pretty boy," I said as I admired the way I hid Max's unconscious body to the same place where I just was two minutes ago. Such a shame he is so attractive, I turned around and started going deeper, following the source of light that was shining at the end of a long aisle.
I don't know what is this place used for, the walls between aisles were made of different metals and concrete pieces. In the end, it was a dump, but why would someone even go here. Dusted floor indicated that there wasn't someone here in some time, and I was leaving footprints behind me.
As I was getting closer to the source of light I saw a man sitting on an old sofa, he didn't notice me right away. From the corner of my eye, I saw a line of expensive cars, one to another, and I wondered what were they doing here. I mean you had to be a billionaire to have that many cars of this kind.
As I stepped into the light, I put my emotionless mask on and held my head high. When the man noticed me, he jumped up and pulled the gun from his pocket, aiming at my head.
I stayed calm while scanning the space, I saw fear in his eyes but I knew if he had to he will shot. I noticed there was noting around me, for me to use to shield myself if he decided to end me.
Just... great.
"Who the fuck are you?" he growled, but I saw confusion behind his thin mask. He was handsome, but the old clothes he was wearing didn't do him any favor. He looked like a junkie.
"Your friend sent me. He couldn't make it." I crossed my arms and let my famous smirk find a way fo my face. I needed this to be over before our friend wakes up.
He looked at my eyes, trying to see if I was lying. Luckily I had a trick or two in my sleeve, and being good at lying was one of them.
"Fuck it, I don't have time for this shit." he gave me a small envelope and started waving with his gun in front of my face, "Get lost. And tell him if he sends someone like this again, I will put a bullet through his skull."
I winked and turned on my heel, "Will do baby." luckily I found myself in situations like this before and I could remain calm and not let my fear eat me out. I didn't have time to open the envelope now so I put it in my back pocket.
I turned to see if the man was still behind me, but he was already gone. The light was still on, which actually looked kind of creepy so I went back to Max.
As I got to the place he was lying I heard a groan and hurried to help him. It was time to bring out my acting skills.
"Max, where the hell are we? What happened to you?" lies rolled off my tongue with ease, it became the part of my life. To constantly continue to lie to other people.
"Fuck this hurts." he groaned again and checked if his head was bleeding. I offered him a hand and helped him to get up. I saw he couldn't walk by himself so I helped him to get to the car as well.
