"You heard me." he looked at me with the biggest smirk, "Marisol told me you are good at distracting people." he focused on the road again, I seriously wanted to wipe off that look from his face but this wasn't the time nor the place to do it.
"Maybe."
He glances with a raised eyebrow, "Your sister told me a lot about you so don't try to hide it." his voice was laced with something that I couldn't pinpoint but it irked me so much.
I sigh feeling helpless, I needed this to unravel what has been going on with my sister, "So what do you exactly want me to do." I give up and focus on the road because I felt that looking at his handsome face didn't do me any good.
"I need you to steal something for me, everything you need to know is in the purse underneath your seat." he reaches out for it grazing my leg, making me feel sparks from his touch, I flinch and jerk his hand.
"Eyes on the road." I glance at him noticing a satisfied look on his face, he knew exactly what he was doing.
But two can play this game.
I take the purse and find a phone in it, unlock it and a notification comes on immediately. I press on it and it takes me to some app, I read through everything memorizing what I have to do and how. I see everything else I need in the purse and just look at Max, "That's all?"
He nods while taking a look on my face, his face finally shows me something. From the look in his eyes I knew this was important to him. I knew better than to screw this up, the task was not hard as I thought I just needed the right time to execute it.
I noticed we came close to a place that looked like an abandoned factory, the only thing around it was a forest that hid this place very well. I didn't know why were we coming here exactly but I knew that looks of the deceive and that inside of this factory maybe everything but abandoned.
We entered through large doors, opening our view to a poorly lit big space that had a fire pit in the middle and was surrounded by more expensive and rare cars that I ever saw in my life.
"Wow" I whispered underneath my breath, these cars were not only rare, but also custom made making them even more special. I took a deep breath trying to get in my role, I had my emotionless face on in a matter of seconds.
Max parked the car in the only place left to complete the circle around the fire pit, "Let's do this." he muttered under his breath and I placed my famous smirk on. It was showtime.
As soon as we got out of the car, I noticed there was one person I knew here. It was that guy that I met the night I pretended to be Max's friend and knocked him out. I hoped he wouldn't recognize me even if he might have not saw me clearly that night.
He crossed the name of one of the cars that I only now noticed was parked behind him. Those cars were empty and no one was standing in front of them.
