"It is empty." I stated, feeling disappointed, "You fucking kidnaped me for nothing." I said patting the bottom of the locker, trying to see if my eyes are deceiving me.
Max roughly pushed me to side, it did nothing but only made me more furious, "It not empty. It can't be." he argued and searched the locker, in hope to see something that I didn't.
As he reached for the top of the locker, he unglued something that looked like a file from the top of it. How did I not see it, I felt really stupid right now. I went to reach for it but he lifted it up, higher then I could reach.
"Let me see." I glared at him while crossing my arms. I am not going to jump for it like a little dummy. He shook his head, turning away from me, going towards the exit. After a few seconds, I started to follow him, this was so not over.
I didn't come here just to open the stupid locker for him, he glanced at me and I raised my eyebrow, trying to keep my step with him, "It is none of your business."
I grabbed his hand, making him stop and turn towards me, "My sister is my business, so I suggest you to had me the file over or I am going to get it the hard way."
He looked amused while raising an eyebrow, "You won't do anything." and he took a step closer, towering over me. I gave him my best glare, trying my best to control myself. I placed my hands on his chest pushing him away from me.
His words somewhat familiar, "Just shut up, you know you can't do shit to me." his voice was drowning me, but he isn't here now and I am stronger than that.
"You know what? Fuck you, I'll find out the other way." I turned on my heel and stomped away from him. I don't need him or that file to find out what mess has Marisol got into.
"You might want your phone back." that made me stop, I rolled my eyes. I did need the phone if I wanted to get home, but I didn't want to see the satisfied look on his face knowing I really needed it.
I took a deep breath and turned around, emotionless. While he looked amused, a smirk playing on his face as he held my phone between his fingers. I approached him, snatching the phone out of his hand and getting the hell out of there.
I really hate this boy, I wasted my time on nothing, I felt the need to throw a punch at something. He manipulated me, but to be honest I could have fought more for it. I was really tired and it was dark outside, I don't even know how long was I with him, in the storehouse.
I sat on the end of the sidewalk and decided to call Marisol to pick me up. She didn't pick up the phone the first time so I tried again.
Come on.
"Hello?" she said with a raspy voice, probably half asleep.
I sighed, I hate calling her like this, "Sol, can you come and pick me up?" I squeezed my eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose. I didn't have any money with me and I really didn't want to call an Uber.
