"What is going on with you guys." Marisol crossed her arms and raised her eyebrow coming into the room.
Max went to sit on the sofa, face emotionless in seconds, "Nothing." He smiled mischievously and the Cornes of my mouth quirked up. This boy was an enigma that I wanted to solve, there was something about him that made me question every interaction I had with him.
"Whatever," she mumbled not convinced, taking a seat next to Max. I had to go to the bathroom so I just quietly went to freshen up. When I was washing my hands I tried to wash my face somehow without messing my mascara up. I didn't care for foundation because most of it wore off but I wanted to snap back to reality.
I wanted to go home to my precious bed because I was exhausted from the whole night and I fell asleep two times so that made me even more exhausted.
When I came back to the room Max and Marisol were they both looked at me. Marisol had a smile on her face that didn't look like good news because Max had a blank stare which told me something happened while I was in the bathroom.
"Jinx," Marisol started carefully and I scrunched my eyebrows not knowing what to expect. I came closer to them and crossed my hands expecting her to continue, Max's eyes roamed all over my body and I was suddenly self-conscious about myself.
He made me feel question myself, if my dress was in the right place and did I look good. I tried to seem unfazed by his look but it was hard not to, this man was different from Jesse, but I didn't know if it was in a good way or not.
"She'll do the job, but we are going to have to do some changes," he said with a smirk on his face, Marisol pointed to the armchair for me to sit down. I was confused with his statement and I had a felling Sol would explain what is going on soon.
"I know you're interested why did I change this much and if you help me I'll tell you everything you want to know with time," she explained, I bit my lips trying to read at least one of them to see if they are messing with me or not, but I couldn't conclude anything.
"What do I have to do?" I raised my eyebrows and they both smirked.
I had a feeling I am not going to like their idea but if this is what I take to see the reason behind Sol's change I was up for everything I had to go through. This was probably a faster way than to find out by myself.
"You'll see," Max chimed in, "just follow everything we say and we won't have any problems." his smirk told me everything I had to know. It was going to be unpleasant or hard for me but I was up for a challenge.
I did some bad things back in the day before my coming back home so I was ready for everything and anything.
"Fine." I glared at him letting him know that I was tougher then he thought and he is going to have a hard time if he wishes to mislead me.
We went home after that and I took a nap in the car and a long sleep afterward. When I finally decided to leave my warm bed I went to eat something because I was super hungry.
