[I]"Falling for him wasn't falling at all. It was walking into a house and suddenly knowing you're home.
Chani and you were high school sweethearts. You have been dating since just before the start of freshman year. You two were now eighteen and living together in a small apartment.
You were very happy in your relationship. You guys never fought so the one day you did it scared you.
It was your four year anniversary and Chani was suppose be home for dinner. He had promised to be home so when he wasn't home at the one he promised and not even there an hour after you got quiet angry.
At twelve that night Chani walked into your shared apartment with Hwi and Tae. You were dressed up in a slightly sexy dress for Chani. You stood up from the couch and looked at him folding your arms.
"Kang Chani....you did not go out with them did you?" You asked obviously angry.
"Yes I did why?" He said
You scoffed. "Welp I'm glad you had fun." You said walking upstairs ignoring Hwi, Tae and now also a very confused Chani.
Chani has told the boys to go back to the dorm as he quickly walked up the stairs to find you changing.
"Babe....is it bad to go out with my Hyungs? Do I actually need your permission?" He said quiet irritated.
"Chani just leave it you'll realize for mistake sooner or later." You said.
"Mistake? Really if going out and not telling you is a mistake then you have a problem. I'm
going to the dorms have fun with my hyungs, you have fun being mad at me for going out with my friends." He said angry and stomped down the stairs and you hear the door slam.
You stood still scared and angry at him. Scared because you could lose him and angry because he forgot it was your anniversary.
You went downstairs and sat on the couch deciding to watch a sad movie so you could just cry.
As you were crying Chani showed up at the dorm to his Youngbin's suprise.
"Chani what are you doing here shouldn't you be with Nicole?" His leader has asked.
"No she's mad because I went out with Hwi and Tae." He said and Youngbin's eye widen.
"Chani please tell me you didn't forget what today was?" He asked. "Well obviously you did because you went out with Hwi and Tae."
Chani looked at him confused. "What have I forgotten?"
"It's your four year anniversary ya know the day you were going to pop the question." Youngbin reminded the youngest boy and Chani's eyes widen.
"No no that's tomorrow." He said running to the calendar on the wall in his bedroom. He look at the calendar and gasped. "No no no shit." Chani said as he ran out the front door. He dropped at the flower shop between his dorm and your house to get roses. Chani also stopped at a small store to get you chocolate too. This won't make you forgive him but it defiantly will be a start...he hoped.
As he walked up to your shared apartment he bite his lip and walked into the house. "B-babe." He looked around and saw you passed out in the couch. He sighed and looked at you picking you up and laying you in your shared bed. He payed next to you and pulled you close. He couldn't sleep that night because of all his guilt.
When it was around nine the next morning he decided to try and make up for dinner and did a few more things too. As you woke up you smelled food and you sighed knowing it was Chani. You sat up and your eyes immediately went to the huge bear, tons of roses and chocolate at the end of your bed.
You smiled gently and got out of bed seeing a trail of rose petals that lead down the stairs and saw Chani in his sweatpants shirtless cooking breakfast.
You walked up behind him and back hugged him. "You must have found out your mistake." You said and put your cheek to his back.
He sighed. "I'm so sorry I forgot I thought it was today not yesterday. I was so stupid to leave last night and I'll do anything for you to forgive me." He said turning way from the stove as he finished cooking.
"Well you've got a great head start at my forgiveness." You smiled up at him and kissed his cheek.
"Um....maybe this isn't the greatest time to do this but this was planned out for the dinner on our anniversary." He said and hit down on one knee. "Will you Nicole Winters becomes Nicole Kang?"
You looked at him and smiled. "Of course Chani." You'd said and pulled him up and kissed him gently. He kissed back gently. You pulled way and looked at him as he slipped the ring on your finger.
"You still need to warm my forgiveness but you have a very very amazing fresh start at it." You said with a smirk.
He just chuckled because he knew he was in for a long ride of getting your forgiveness and he knew you weren't gonna make it easy.
