The next day (Sunday) I was awoken by the doorbell. I looked over at my clock and it was 11. I flew out of bed looking like a hot mess and ran down the stairs. I opened the door and Cameron looked a little frightened by my horrible appearance. “I’m so so so sorry! I overslept! Here come in I’ll be really fast I promise!” I said as he walked in. He smiled at me and said “I know you don’t want to hear this but you look beautiful without makeup.” I rolled my eyes at him as I smiled. He walked back to where my parents were in the kitchen and started chatting as I ran upstairs. “y/n! Wear a bathing suit!” he said. I had taken a shower yesterday morning so my hair was still straight from dinner last night. I touched up on the ends and did my makeup quickly. I put on jean shorts with a tribal print patterned tank top overtop my bathing suit. I put on flip flops and ran downstairs. I was ready in a record time of 20 minutes! When I walked into the kitchen, Cameron and my mom immediately got quiet, which made me suspicious that they were talking about me but I shrugged it off. I said bye to my parents and Cameron and I walked outside. He smiled at me and said “You look pretty!” I smiled and said “you too,” We got in the car and I said “so, where are we going?” Cameron said “I’m taking you on a surprise adventure!” I looked at him really confused but decided not to question. We drove down this dirt road, and finally at the end was a pretty big lake. I followed Cameron to the water. There were a few other families there on the beach, or swimming near the shore. There a guy there waiting there, he said “Mr. Dallas, here is your row boat.” Cameron said “Thank you!” We both climbed in, and sat down facing each other. Cameron started rowing far out into the lake. Cameron was wearing a tank top, which made his arm muscle very visible. Especially every time he rowed. When we got to the middle of the lake, he stopped. It felt so peaceful out here. We sat out on the middle of the lake for a while and just talked. After a while, he started rowing back towards the shore, and got out of the boat. We walked over to where 2 paddle boards were. “What are we doing?” I asked. “Going paddle boarding!” He said. My face lit up as I said “I’ve always wanted to!” Cameron smiled and pulled his shirt off. I took my clothes off so I was just in my bikini. Cameron taught me the basics while we were still on shore and then we went out into the water. I was so scared to stand up so I stayed sitting for a while on the board. Cameron stayed next to me, standing on his board. “Come on! Stand up!” He said smiling. I grabbed his hand and stood up slowly. “There! Now all you have to do is paddle!” He said. We started paddling out into the lake and it was really fun and easy! Cameron used his paddle to push water up and splash me. “Cameron! I’m gonna push you in!” I said laughing. “No!” He said laughing too. He started paddling away so I followed him. I splashed him too. We were out on the lake having a really good time. It was getting late so we paddled back in. Back at the shore, fans were waiting. I looked at Cameron confused as to how they found out we were at this tiny lake. It was public but very hidden. He took pictures with them as I stood aside. A couple of the girls came and talked to me. They were very sweet as usual. We left about half an hour later. I went on my phone, and on twitter. There were pictures of Cameron and I out paddle boarding in the lake. “Um, Cameron…” I said showing him the picture when we were at a red light. “Candids?” He asked. “it was taken with an iphone. Someone saw us and took pictures and tweeted out the lake. They’re probably following us.” I said worried. They might follow us all the way to my house. “Shit.” Cameron said. “Times like this I wish I could just take my girlfriend to a lake without having to get a driver and security.” He handed his phone to me and asked me to call Yosh. “Hello?” he said. It was on speaker so Cameron said “hey Yosh. We need some rescuing.” “oh gosh, okay I’ll bring security.” He said. Cameron told him where we were and we got off at some random exit and waited in a Mcdonalds parking lot. 10 minutes later his driver came in an SUV with Yosh. Yosh took Cameron’s car back to the hotel and we rode with the driver back to my house so they would stop following us.
We were in the back seat when Cameron said “I guess this is goodbye, since we have meetings tomorrow and your recital tomorrow night.” I sighed. “but you’re coming to la in a few weeks!” Cameron said trying to cheer me up. I smiled and said “I cannot wait!!” We got to my house and he got out with me. We hugged for a while and kissed, but this time I wasn’t as sad. I guess because I knew there was a really fun week in la with him pretty soon. I stood on the porch and watched him ride away. Once I was inside I showered and then went on my phone. The candids of us in the lake were actually really cute, of us splashing each other and laughing. Fans were tweeting stuff like “relationship goals” or “if he’s happy I’m happy.” They all really cared about him so much.
