We got to this super fancy restaurant and Cameron came around to open my door. He held my hand as I stepped out of the car. “What is this all actually for?” I asked. Cameron smiled and said “Well, our 2 month is this Monday August 18th so it’s kind of like a celebration.” We walked inside, and everyone in the restaurant turned around to look at us. Everyone else was dressed nice too, but I guess two young teenagers on a date made everyone go crazy. The hostess led us to a private room with beautiful Los Angeles views through huge windows. Once we sat down, I looked at Cameron and said “This is crazy. You’re crazy.” He laughed and said “crazy for you.” I had my hand out on the table, so he put his hand on top of mine. I’d never seen him dressed so nicely but it looked so good on him. We ordered our food, and as we waited we talked about a lot. He looked in my eyes and I could tell her was nervous. “So y/n?” He said. I looked at him and said “yeah?” “I… I think I love you.” He said, stuttering. I smiled a tiny bit and said “I already know that, Cam.” “No, like I really love you. Like I think I’m IN love with you.” He said. My heart melted and I felt tears come to my eyes. Tears of happiness of course though. “Cameron. I AM in love with you.” I said. I took my finger and wiped it under my eye to get rid of any tears. He laughed and said “y/n! Don’t cry!” I kicked him playfully under the table and said “Happy tears!” The waiter brought our food out which was amazing. Even though it was a super formal dinner, we were still teenagers so we messed around a lot but it was so much fun. We were about done, and he said “There may be a present back home waiting.” As he smirked. My stomach dropped for a second. The only thing I could think of when he said that was sex. Cameron wanted to do it. Tonight. We left shortly after that, but I was freaking out in my head. On our way home, I wasn’t talking that much. “Y/n? What’s wrong?” He asked. “Oh, I think I just ate too much…” I said.
When we got back to the apartment, Lauren and Nash were sitting in the living room. Cameron ran upstairs so I figured he had gone to the bathroom. “Nash can you give us a minute?” I asked. He looked confused but he went out to the balcony. “Lauren. He wants to have sex. Tonight.” I said quietly. “What?! What did he say?” She asked. “Well he was like ‘there may be a present back home waiting.’ Like what else is that supposed to mean? Lauren! I’m freaking out! I don’t know what to do!” I said, started breathing heavy. “Just tell him you can’t. He’ll understand.” She said, trying to calm me down. I waved Nash back inside right as Cameron came running down the stairs. Nash and Lauren observed from the living room as Cam walked over towards me. “Cam, I can’t.” I said. “Can’t what?” He said, looking really confused. He pulled out a little jewelry box and handed it to me. “I’m really sorry, I left this here on accident.” He said. My jaw dropped as I said “oh my god… I thought you meant… a different present here.” Cam gave me a confused look and then said “Oh my gosh y/n! You thought the present I was talking about was sex?!” He laughed as he pulled me in. I buried my face in his chest from embarrassment. “open it!” He said. I opened it, and it was an absolutely beautiful necklace. It was a very small silver heart, and in the middle of it was an infinity sign. “it’s beautiful Cameron.” I said, smiling up at him. “No matter how far away, our love for each other is infinite.” He said. I covered my mouth with one hand and my eyes filled with tears once again. I wrapped my arms around his neck as I hugged him. “I feel so bad, like I haven’t gotten you anything.” I said after. He laughed and said “It’s a lot harder shopping for boys. It’s okay!” “Just wait, one day I’m gonna surprise you with the best gift ever.” I said. I heard Nash mumble “her virginity.” Cam and I spun around and looked at him. Lauren playfully smacked him and said “Nash!” Cameron and I could not stop laughing. “Oh my god Nash!” I said.
That night we all went to bed earlier. Cameron and I were visiting his mom and sister tomorrow, so we were leaving at around 11. I set my alarm for 10am, just incase I over slept. When I woke up, I got dressed in white shorts, and an aqua flowy tank top with little white flowers. I went into the bathroom where Cameron was, blow drying his hair. I laughed as I walked in. “My hair is a mess unless I do this!” He said. I just shook my head and kept laughing. I turned my straightener on and waited for it to heat up. “Can I straighten one piece of your hair?” I asked, as I made a puppy-dog face. Cam said “fine,” So once his hair was dry I straightened a piece. It made it stick straight out, but looked really funny. I finished getting ready as Cameron was downstairs making pancakes. When I was getting ready, Nash got up and saw that I was in the bathroom. “y/n can I please please pee real fast?” He said, jumping up and down. I stepped out of the bathroom to let him go. I went back to Lauren and I’s bedroom and she was laying in bed on her phone. “You look nice!” She said. “Thanks, we’re going to meet his family today. I’m kind of nervous.” I said. She laughed and said “don’t be. I think Nash and I are going shopping today.” I smiled and said “sounds fun!” I walked back out into the hallway and Nash ran out yelling “it’s all yours y/n!” As he ran down the stairs. “Cam I’m ready for some pancakes!” He shouted. I finished getting ready and joined them downstairs too. Lauren must have been upstairs still getting ready. They were both sitting on the stools eating so I stood across from them and ate quickly because Cam and I had to leave soon. We were out the door by 11, and his mom and sister lived like 40 minutes away. As we drove, Cameron decided to play music from his phone. It wasn’t that bad but occasionally some really weird rap songs would come on that he’d skip quickly. He put his hand on my leg and rubbed his thumb back and forth. He looked over and smiled at me and then put his eyes back on the road. We got off on an exit that said “Chino Hills.” My stomach erupted with butterflies as I suddenly got nervous.
