Eliza's POV
"What the hell is going on here?" Tyra said angrily, glaring at me with such hatred. I shuffled closer into Seth's arms protectively. She was in love with him, not that I blamed her . Anyone who didn't love Seth was a blinking idiot.
"What does it look like?" Leah growled angrily, crouching into a defensive position.
"Hmm... Let me think about that," Old Quil said, faking a pondering expression on his withered face. A face I once saw as wise. Once being the key word. Now, I couldn't help but think of him as an inarticulate half wit, "What does this look like?" Old Quil continued. I was sorely tempted to answer him with a sarcastic remark, but I guessed it was a rhetorical question, and being smart would probably land myself in even more trouble than I was in now, "Well, let me see... There's a disgusting bloodsucker in your house Sue. Were you aware of that? If you weren't, and we don't blame you, these leeches are quite deceiving, then you can carry on, just as normal. If you were, indeed aware of the parasite in your house, then I'm afraid we'll be forced to remove your elder statues and disband you, and all your descendants from the tribe." Sue glared at the old man.
"You really are an evil man, Quil. I've tried to look past this fact for years. You could never take the fact that I loved Harry more than you. All you are is a coward. A stupid idiotic coward." Sue spat at Old Quil, who looked just a little frightened, and was cautiously stepping backwards.
"Wait, hold on. You used to love my Mum? You?" Leah said, obviously trying to contain her laughter.
"Yeah. He was the school bully back in high school. He would always harass Harry. I guess he could never accept the fact that a girl would choose your father over him." Sue replied.
"That has nothing to do with it, you stupid bitch," Old Quil said angrily, but I could still detect the bright red colour his face had turned, "Right that's it. You, Susan Clearwater, Leah Clearwater, Seth Clearwater, and your filthy whore-" But before Old Quil could continue, Seth lunged forward from my arms, catching me by surprise, and grabbed Old Quil by the neck of his shirt.
"It's more than enough to badmouth my sister, my mother, even my dead father, but you crossed the line when you traduced my imprint. No one, and I mean absolutely no one, can do that and still stay in my favour." Seth growled into his face. But instead of wincing away, Old Quil smiled. It was a cruel, nasty, malicious grin. He eyed me gleefully. It was then that I realised my mistake. But of course, it was too late. How could I forget the rest of the wolf pack, slowly creeping into the house, sneaking behind me? Before I could spin around and backhand the insolent boys who dared to try and capture me, Sam and Embry, I realised, each grabbed one of my arms, dragging, and pinning me to the ground. My knees were on the ground, my arms twisted back in the grips. It wasn't a particularly uncomfortable position, but it meant that if I tried to break free from their hold, they could easily snap my arms off.
I considered cutting their oxygen, but I couldn't do that without endangering Sue, Leah and Seth. I was in a tight predicament.
"Put me down boy, or your oh-so-important imprint will get it. Care to demonstrate Sam? Embry?" Old Quil said, grinning again. I did not like the look of the direction this was going.
I took in breath as I felt the muscular boys holding my arms twist them again. I couldn't help the yelp I let out as they pressed harder against my arms. I could almost feel them snapping.
Almost.
"Let her go!" Seth yelled, dropping Old Quil. The pain in my arms instantly stopped. I hissed as I saw Jacob and Young Quil grab Seth, and push him into a similar position to what I was in.
