Eliza's POV

"Then let the games begin."

As soon as Alec's flagitious voice rang clear through the clearing, I saw Jane launching attack after attack at our foes. I saw her eyes zone in on her brother, and they both sent heinous glares at each other. A look of utmost concentration and hatred passed on both their angelic faces, before they both went flying backwards, each crashing deafeningly into trees, that came crashing down with them.

"Jane!" Dante shrieked anxiously, loosing concentration for a split second. That's all it took for Felix to grab onto her. Dante furiously fought back.

I looked cautiously over at Jane. There was no movement from under the pile of trees. I let out a deep, uneasy breath as I saw Jane's arms and blonde head reappear. Leaves stuck out at awkward angles from her once sleek hair.

"Ugh! My hair! God, it must look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards!" She groaned, pulling herself out of the trees. I guessed that must be what happened when the two twins opposite forces clashed.

"Ahhhh!" I heard a scream coming from my left.

"Bella!" Edward yelled. I quickly averted my gaze over to them. Demetri had Bella in a tight headlock, Edward was struggling to go and help her, but there were four vampires up against him as it was. I quickly looked over as I saw Alec pulling himself from  the ground. He smiled, and my eyes widened in horror.

"Bella! Your shield!" I shouted over to her, but it was too late. Alec had rendered us all completely senseless.

It was all planned. Demetri grabbed Bella so that she would not be able to focus on her shield, then Alec cut our senses. I scowled, hoping Alec could see me.

All around me, I could hear gasps of pain. Our side was going down. When we could not sense our attackers, we were sorely disadvantaged.

I clenched my fists.  I had not tried this little trick in a while, and it was hard to get the right direction... But I had no choice. I wasn't sure what else we could do besides lay down in the ground and make it easier for the Volturi to crush us.

If I messed this up, I could end up hitting our side. And that would be bad...

It would have been a hell of a lot easier if I could see, but I couldn't so there was no point even wishing I could.

I took a deep breath, preparing myself. Even though I couldn't feel it, I knew my hair was flicking around my face, my eyes darkening to black coal. I opened my fist, bringing my open hand to my face.

I could sort of feel my senses coming back in flickers as Alec became distracted.

"Oh shit." I heard him mutter. I smiled cruelly as I started to regain my hearing and vision.

I looked down at my palm. A bright orange flame flickered on my hand. Power over the air really was powerful. More powerful than control over any other element.

Water? With air, I could create tsunamis, or rips, or kill all sea life. Earth? Ever heard of weathering and erosion? Fire? Air created fire. I could create a whole fire with just one hand. Still don't understand? Don't worry, I'll demonstrate.

I threw the flame from my hand past Alec's face, distracting him, before setting the inside of the clearing alight.

Taking advantage of Alec's temporary distraction, I sent a roundhouse kick to his head, then a sidekick to his stomach. He fell off balance, stumbling backwards towards the fire, but before he fell in, I grabbed the neck of his shirt, holding him up.

A look of pure terror crossed his face, his eyes on mine fearfully.

He whimpered pathetically. "Please. Please Eli, pl-"

"You lost all rights to calling me that name when you became an idiot." I cut him off.

"Of course, Eliza. Of course." He pleaded pitifully. I lowered him closer to the fire, I could hear the singeing on his shirt. He struggled against my tight grip.

"No! No! Please! Eliza! Please! I'll do anything! It was all that whore Christina. She tricked me! I was caught up in her act of seduction. You'll always be the girl for me. I still love you."

"Shut up," I seethed, and he shut up instantly, "Firstly, stop lying, you never loved me. And secondly, don't you ever talk about my friends like that, bitch." And with that, I used my eight inch heel boot clad foot to snap off his head, my arms snapping his arms, then kicking him, screaming, into the fire.

"You were such a bore in bed anyway."

Dante's POV

"Crap." I muttered as I watched Eliza toss Alec into the fire. I thought we agreed that we wouldn't be killing him, because of Christina and all.

I looked over at Christina, her face showed betrayal, and it kind of broke my heart to see her like that, she was once one of my best friends. I loved, probably even still love, her.

I sighed, looking back over at Eliza, and cursed under my breath as I saw her. Her face portrayed utmost bloodlust. I knew she could get like that when she was really, really angry. She wouldn't think straight. When she was like this, all she could think about was the kill.

Eliza's eyes blazed black, but it seemed as if dark fires flickered in them. Eliza was dangerous right now.

Our side of the battle was wining easily now that Eliza had finished off Alec, and Edward had managed to help Bella with Demetri, meaning that we all had our senses and shield back.

Before I knew it, Eliza's fire was crowded with more and more Volturi bodies. As far as I could tell there were only the three elders left fighting, and a few of their more timid supporters cowering behind them. Eliza had them all on their knees before her.

"Please, Eliza. You owe me. I am the reason you are alive. I created you, I am your father." Alo pleaded with the murderous young woman.

"You were no father of mine." Eliza growled back, Aro cringed away from her.

I quickly ran up to my friend.

"Eli, babe, don't do it. You'll regret it later." She turned her attention to me, and I gasped at her homicidal face.

"But I want to." She said, confused as to why I would be asking her to not destroy someone. She asked it so innocently, as if she was asking why she couldn't buy an ice cream, not why she couldn't completely destroy someone on their knees.

"But Eli, you can't destroy them while they're on their knees, it's just not fair. Remember? We only kill if they are fighting." I reminded her of the agreement we had made previously.

"But I want to kill him. I want to see his stone cold flesh spattered on the ground. His hard, black heart in my hands." I knew what was wrong with Eliza. She was actually quite a violent person, but she usually kept the blood lust under control. But now, it had all come undone, the violent Eliza had been unleashed. She wouldn't care if it was a deer, or her brother, or Christina, or Aro before her. She just needed to kill something.

"Edward," I called to him, "Are you okay to sort this all out?" He nodded, running over.

I grabbed Eliza's hand, leading her away from the clearing, into the forest. Eliza was still in her bloodlust:, I knew. I had to get her out of it.

"Come on Eli, let's go hunt."
