Babysitting Skylynn

Chapter 23

*2 weeks later*

*Nash's POV*

So its been like 3 weeks since I told Jaileen about my feelings towards and we're still not together. well we're together but not be together. We were at the airport waiting for out flight to Canada. She was gonna meet Shawn, preform again and I was thinking about asking her out at a spot she always talks about.

"I can't wait oh my god this will be amazing!" she screamed "I know!" I said hugging her from behind.

Sadly skylynn couldn't come with us because my mom got back.

*Jaileen's POV*

We wereat the air port and i was dressed pretty basic, i had jeans, a white v neck and a grey sweater on. see basic.The fact that Skylynn couldn't come with us made me want to cry. The whole time, from the drive here till we got to the gate she was just hugging my legs. "Im gonna miss you so much baby" I started brushing her hair with my fingers. "I'm gonna miss you" she started crying ugh this little girl is breaking my heart

"aw baby don't cry!" i starded to tear up. I got out of Nash grip and bent down to hug her. "I'll be back in no time okay!" "pinky promise?" "pinky promise.' I held out my pinky and we promised. I picked her up and just carried her. "Oh honey, is she crying?" Elizabeth asked I nodded "Baby its okay" she tried to take her out of my arms but skylynn wouldn't budge. "okay never mind" she said slightly laughing. Nash was rubbing my back for support, he knew how close skylynn and I had gotten. "I'm gonna go talk to her over there" I said pointing to a corner "Whatever you have to do honey" I smiled and started walking. I set skylynn down on a seat and just knealed down in front of her. Her face was so wet from crying. I wiped away her tears and said "Skylynn in only gonna be gone for a week, I'll be back next Saturday and we can go to the zoo and back cookies and all of that!" "a week?" I nodded "that's so long!" she started to cry again. At this point I was gonna start crying. "look I'll make you a deal okay?" I said wiping away my tears, she looked up. "Ill facetime you everyday and call you everyday until I get back, if you stay strong and don't cry okay?" she let out a tiny sigh "okay. but everyday okay?" "everyday" she hugged me and I started crying dammit I just told her to stay strong and in crying

she pulled away and looked at my face "hey! no fair you're crying!" I laughed and she wiped away my tears "I won't cry anymore" we walked back to where everyone was. and I sat down next to Nash and Skylynn sat on my lap. "I see you're not gonna miss me sky" he said folding his arms and looking away which made Both of us laugh. "No I'm gonna miss you too!" she said reaching over to hug him. They hugged and I got a picture of it. "cute" I said ad I looked at it. "Little do you know, I took pictures when you were talking to her" he said with a mischievous look on his face. Skylynn moved back over to my lap and we took, well skylynn took a thousand pictures on my phone. I set one of them as my lock screen, it was cute. "Flight 4091 To Toronto, Canada will now be boarding" "That's us" Nash said as he got up. "okay skylynn, this is it" I told her, she looked like she was about to cry. "remember, I'm gonna face time you when I get off" she nodded and I hugged her super tightly. Then I put her down and went to say bye to Elizabeth and Hayes. "Ready?" Nash asked "Yeah let's go" he held my hand and as we were in line for the ticket thing I looked back at skylynn and she waved. she's breaking my heart again

I ran back and hugged her one last time "I'll be back soon babe" I whispered in her ear and walked back to Nash. He gave the lady out tickets and we boarded  plane. We found our seats and were sitting with Taylor. Taylor beat us and took the window seat "damn you Taylor" I said "do you want it?" he laughed "uh yeah" I said with a hint of attitude. "well too bad so sad!" he laughed "you're the worst. I took the seat next to him and Nash was next to me. I looked out the window then unlocked my phone and went through the pictures Skylynn took. Nash put his hand on my knee, "we'll be back soon." "I know, but I don't know why saying goodbye to skylynn was so hard." "You've babysat her for two years. the first time you did she was a two year old baby and you would always be together, so I can imagine how hard it is" "I wish she could come" he put his arms around me and I just leaned into him. "It was hard saying bye to my sister the first few times, but I got used to it"  "hey what's going on? why are you sad?" Taylor asked taking his earphones out. "she misses Skylynn" Nash answered for me "oh sorry babe" he rubbed my arm
