3rd person's pov
Jongin gets out with his brother leaving the Parks to themselves. Chanyeol calms him down, patting his head feeling his wet sobs into his now damp sky blue shirt. He hugs Yeolhyun, the hurt brother in his arm.
"How can I leave you alone after knowing this, Yeolhyun why didn't you mention this to me ealier? Why do you tell me when I have to leave you? Why did it take me confiscating the bike to get truth put of you?" Chanyeol questioned endlessly, subconsciously spouting them out aloud.
Yeolhyun looked up wiping his tears, cleaning his nose and brother's shirt.
"My bike, the feeling of fresh air keeps me indulged to myself, it keeps me sane and without those things I crumble easily. I'm easy to break and you had to see this pathetic me because of that weakness... I'm sorry Chan, I'm still weak and may-"
Chanyeol engulfed him, "it's okay! I will protect Yeol, I will make you strong, but remember I will never stop loving you even if you have weaknesses! Fans can try heart you and I will still protect you... No ones going to hurt you if I am there, I can die protecting you with no regrets."
Yeolhyun hugged him tighter "I appreciate that, but never say you'll die protecting me ever! Hyung, you should never need to say that because it won't come to that. I won't be happy if you aren't with me, you promised you'd stay forever so don't make me leave you. We will live forever together."
Yeolhyun sternly said wearing a strict and serious expression. Chanyeol nodded in return realising he could not win here, he agreed instead: maybe Yeolhyun was more attached than thought, at least this will keep him alive he thought with a gentle smile.
Now it was time to exit. Chanyeol could tell by the way Yeolhyun cringed to him this would be hard, but it had to be done. Today was his last day, he has to go back and Yeolhyun had to except that.
"Brother I know it's hard, but you need to get out, we need to get out so I can wish you off and give orders to the others." He says gently watching Yeolhyun wipe his remaining and lingering tears away. "I'm sorry" He whispered.
Chanyeol gets out holding his brother which obviously brought them attention and he didn't care. He placed his brother down and allowed him to hide his face away in his shoulder as he explained to his team how things were gonna go.
Chanyeol gave Jonghyuk Yeol's keys, told Baek and Kyung they'd stay for an extra week before leaving to meet the rest of the team. Jongin and himself would leave today and a party would be held in two weeks time on a Friday evening that they all had to attend.
Now it was really time for goodbyes, Chanyeol looked down to his clinging brother as others took photos of them.
"I need to go and you need to let me go." He sternly announced.
Yeolhyun shook his head being more clingy than he usually was, this was a surprising sight for both of their friends especially Baekhyun who somehow pitied them both.
Yeolhyun looked up with no tears wearing a cheeky expression, that brought a sigh of release to their friends and those around who thought he was still crying.
It was Chanyeol alone who could see how forced that expression was, it was him who looked deeper into his eyes to see how heart broken Yeolhyun truly was with leaving his hyung and returning to school.
Chanyeol ruffled his hair playing along, "is there anything you want before I go?" He smiled to the cameras around.
"Permission to dye my hair, that is what I want" Yeolhyun said with a smile watching his brother's one faulture into a grin of hatred.
"No." He grit through his teeth trying to seem less threatening since it was clear the fans around noticed his switch of aura.
Yeolhyun feeling better and back to himself pushed Chanyeol more. He has always wanted to dye his hair but Chanyeol appeaciated his silky black hair he'd grown tired of.
"Come on Channie, you don't want me sad while your gone right?"
"But you'll see me in two weeks and you already know we've discussed why I don't want you dying your hair. Your hair is silky soft, please don't ruin them!"
Yeolhyun was not taking no for an answer, he smirked at his brother before turning to the fans around them.
"Don't you think Channie should let me dye my hair?" He smiled Angelically.
Some agreed with Chanyeol that he was too young to make such choices, but some believed in Yeolhyun because they liked him and wanted him happy.
Baekhyun finally intervened since time was just being wasted.
"Chan, you asked me to watch Yeolhyun as of he were my own and I will! He will dye his hair the colour he pleases and you will do nothing to him. He's eighteen for goodness sake, give him some freedom. Now go! Your going to be late for your plain, we'll see you in a week and he'll see you in two! Now bye and go."
Chanyeol took his brother from him and hugged him as if it'd be their last and kissed his forehead before getting into the car, finding Jongin asleep since he'd said his fair wells a while ago. He waved good bye as the car drove of and he took out his phone texting away.
Yeolhyun's phone goes off:
Have a good day little brother and be a good boy for Baekhyun. He'll be staying with you for a week, so listen to him well and remember to call or text if something goes wrong or if you ever need to just hear my voice wishing you to sleep well. That is okay too.
Bye, love Channie hyung.Yeolhyun reads the message before them phone being taken from his hands.
"Chan is like a father sometimes, like what is with these messages:
I'll be home later today so don't bother staying up to see me kiddo.
Love Channie hyung.Or
I finally landed, it's going to be longer till I see you again and I want you to not cr-"
"Okay! That's enough reading" Yeolhyun snatches his phone away.
