Part 4: Must Run Faster!

Merry Late Christmas everybody! Here's the next chapter in my whacky harem adventure. Last time, you discovered you got a hell of a charisma boost when you were reincartnated as a Devil.

You and Asia were walking through a neighborhood on your way to the client’s house. Along the way you kept your eyes on the ground, making sure not to greet any female passerbys for fear you might make them faint.

Asia: “Uh, that seems a little extreme don’t you think?”

You: “I can’t be too careful Asia, even just a “Hello” is enough to set someone into a spiraling tizzy. Best I should do is just keep my head down til I get this power under control.”

Asia: “You can’t just avoid talking to women for the rest of your life!”

You: “Yes I can!”

You walk head first into a lamp post. You start rubbing the center of impact when Asia comes over and heals your head.

Asia: “At least keep your head up so you don’t hurt yourself again please.”

You: “Alright. Where is this place anyways?”

Asia pulls out a note Rias gave her.

Asia: “I think we’re almost there. These addresses are starting to line up with what’s written on here. Oh hey I think your house is nearby.”

    You: “Yep. Though I think we’re going in the opposite direction.”

You find the house with the address written on it. You knock on the door and an older gentleman answers it. He’s balding and has a thick gray moustache.

Old Man: “Oh hello there. Can I help you?”

Asia: “We’re with the Gremory household. I believe you summoned us for a task?”

Old Man: “Eh. Did I? Mmmmmm I don’t recall that.”

The old man seems to be trailing off.

You: “Just great. He’s senile.”

Old Man: “Oh that’s right! I did. You see I live with my granddaughter but she’s busy with her club and I don’t have the energy for some of the chores that need getting done around the house. Could you two help me with them?”

You: “Man when Rias said this job was simple she wasn’t kidding.”

Asia: “We’d love to, wouldn’t we Y/N?”

You nod and smile.

Old Man: “Excellent. Now come this way and I’ll show what needs gettin done.”

He leads you into his house. The kitchen was an absolute mess and there were hundreds of weeds in his backyard. He sends you to deal with the weeds while Asia handles the kitchen. 2 hours later everything was spick and span. The old man thanks you and pulls out his wallet.

Old Man: “Now let’s see here what do I owe you?”

Asia pulls out a tablet device and evaluates the price of two hours of chores.
