[No one's POV]

Michaeng is locked in the cell for a few days and they starve a lot.

But there's a servant, Miyoung who will bring water to them so that they will not die in dehydration.

Whenever food is served, Chaeyoung will only eat 1 bun and drink half glass of water while the others, he will passed to Mina.

Mina saw Chaeyoung struggling as he seems like he really starve a lot.

One night, Chaeyoung couldn't even sleep because of his extreme hunger.

His gastric is hurting a lot but he didn't show it out.

He look at Mina who is sleeping on the cement bed peacefully and he stood up.

He wanted to walk to the cell door but he fell down on the floor.

Very soon, he fainted and Mina heard a thud so she woke up.

She then saw Chaeyoung lying down on the floor, unconscious.

"Chaeyoung-ah!" She shouted as she went to him.

She put Chaeyoung's head on her lap and saw his face very pale.

"Guards! Anyone? Help!" Mina shouted and someone she never expected came.

The king and the queen came to opened the door and the guards carried Chaeyoung out.

They laid him down on his bed and the doctor start to check on him.

"He's suffering from extreme hunger, dehydration and malnutrition. He needs eat a lot." The doctor said and the king nodded.

"Thank you doctor." The king said.

"Your welcome, your highness." The doctor said and bowed to the king.

He then packed his bag and left Chaeyoung's room.

Mina stood at the side while the king and the queen queen approached him.

"I'm sorry my child..." The king said and touched Chaeyoung's forehead.

The queen caressed his hair softly and look at him.

"Mina-ssi..."  The king called and Mina bowed to him.

"Yes, your highness?" Mina asked politely.

"Please take good care of my child..." The king said and Mina bowed to him once again.

"Yes, your highness." Mina replied and they exited Chaeyoung's room.

Mina went to Chaeyoung and stood beside his bed.

"Please wake up soon, Chaeyoung-ah..." Mina said and look at Chaeyoung.

She stayed by his side for hours and Chaeyoung finally woke up.

"Urgh... What happen? Why am I back here?" Chaeyoung asked Mina.

"You fainted in the cell and surprisingly, the king and the queen came and unlocked the cell. The guards carried you here and the doctor checked on you." Mina said.

"If you're hungry, why did you give me the buns? You should eat more and drink more. You know the doctor said that you suffered from extreme hunger, dehydration and malnutrition." Mina nagged and Chaeyoung just hold Mina's hand.

He pulled her towards him and Mina sat down on Chaeyoung's bed.

"Shh... Accompany me and stop talking." Chaeyoung said and Mina smiled.

Chaeyoung hold her hand tightly and put it on his chest.

He closed his eyes and smiled like a idiot as he felt warmth from Mina.

"You smell nice..." Chaeyoung blurted out suddenly and Mina blushed.

"I didn't bath for days already, Chaeyoung-ah..." Mina said.

"So what? I don't care... Even if you did not bath for days, you're still my most precious Mina." Chaeyoung said and Mina grinned, revealing her gummy smile.

"Sweet talker..." Mina said and caressed Chaeyoung's hair with her fingers.

Chaeyoung smiled as he felt Mina's fingers brushing against his hair.

"I love you." Chaeyoung said and Mina blushed.

"I love you too." Mina said and Chaeyoung opened one eye to see Mina looking at the other side while blushing.

He pushed himself up and pecked Mina's cheek.

After that, he laid back down and continue to hold onto Mina's hand.

Mina blushed even harder than before and she froze a bit.

But she quickly composed herself and continue to caressed his hair.

Chaeyoung then went back to sleep thanks to Mina's magical fingers and when Mina realize that he fell asleep, she stood up and went to a basin with water.

She took the wet towel and twisted it dry.

She went back to Chaeyoung and wiped Chaeyoung's face, neck and arms gently, not waking him up.

After that, she continue to stayed by Chaeyoung and when Chaeyoung woke up again, it's almost dinner time.

The servant came to call them to go down for dinner.

Mina is about to sit down beside Chaeyoung but the king spoke.

"You're not part of our family, you can't have dinner here with us." The king said and Mina bowed.

She took the plate of little food and went out to eat.

She sat down on the stool and start eating while looking up at the sky.

But she felt a presence beside her so she turn around and saw Chaeyoung eating along with her.

"Why are you here?" Mina asked.

"Well, you're my precious Mina. How can I let you sit out here and eat alone? Most importantly, it's getting chilly, what if you catch a cold?" Chaeyoung asked and Mina smiled.

"I'm fine... Go back and have dinner with your parents." Mina said but Chaeyoung shook his head.

"I don't want to. Eating with them feels like eating with strangers. They eat without any communication even if it's a little and the atmosphere is very cold. I don't like it." Chaeyoung said and look at Mina.

"But even though the night is getting more chilly here, eating with you feels better. And the atmosphere is totally different." Chaeyoung said and Mina smiled.

"Sorry if my dad is too harsh earlier... I promise, I will marry you and you will sit down at that table and have meals with us." Chaeyoung said and smiled to Mina.

"Your parents doesn't even accept our relationship, how can you marry me? If you did that, you're defying the king's order and you will be executed." Mina said.

"I don't care. Whatever they will do to me, I just want to be with you. To me, they're just like parents on name, but not in the house. They don't concern about me, care about me, love me, take care of me and even, they have never bring me home after school before. All I want is just their concern but it feels like I'm just an unwanted child." Chaeyoung said and looked down.

"Don't say that." Mina said and caressed Chaeyoung's cheek.

"Why is your hand so cold?" Chaeyoung asked as hold Mina's hand.

He put his plate aside and hold both of Mina's hands.

He warmed her hands by blowing hot air on her hands.

"Better?" Chaeyoung asked and Mina nodded.

Chaeyoung then moved closer to and backhugged her.

"Let's enjoy the night like this." Chaeyoung said and they spend the night like this.

But what they didn't know is someone heard their whole conversation.
