Chapter-XI

Sam's POV

After I got Adrita went straight to the manager who was sitting nearby and told something. The manager came and told me to take a break for that day.

After I removed the gloves and removed the KFC coat, Adrita pulled me out and made me sit in the food corner area. She kept on staring at me like one horrifying terrible devil. Not that she was looking dull but her eyes were murderous.

“Hey Adrita… how are you.. It’s been a long time”

“You idiotic bucker (name changed since I have many children reading my book but it’s implied though) you bucking left me off all of a sudden during the time I most needed you”

“Ah… well you have Richie you see.. So I…”

As I mentioned Richie, I got water splashed on my face. Oops! This girl is brutal! Thankfully everyone pretended not to notice even though I know everyone was watching with their eyes behind their hair.

“Richie told me everything to me when he found another interesting girl who literally hypnotized and…”

She started crying. I went and sat next to her. I know Adrita was a hot tempered girl but she was really a sweet person inside. I was very angry with Richard because I thought he would be with her all the time and damn!

How can this shit be happening now? Adrita slowly held my hand and said all the things which I mentioned Richard not to tell.

“You left me because you thought I liked Richie better na sam?”

“I… well…”

As I started to speak, she suddenly held my face and kissed me. I pushed her away.

“Why Sam? You know I love you right? If I had known earlier what had happened between you and Richie, I would have definitely….”

“Hold on Adrita…. You first tell me what happened between you and Richard”

“Well everything was fine in the beginning but as you know, he joined college last year and from that time, he started acting strangely. When I enquired with his friends in college, I found that he had a girl chasing behind him all the time”

“Oh…”

“And when I asked him, he said that he was confused over his feelings with her and one day when we had a fight, that bisch (censored due to children  reading my book) came in between and tore our relationship”

“What did Richie do then..”

“I was literally so angry when she came so I slapped her and started cursing and Richie was….. Well I guess he was not able to put up with me”

She started crying again. I didn’t know how to console her. I gave her a hug. I thought that speaking about Sasha in that condition was a very bad idea.

“You love me right? I know you do”

“Well I……..”

She hugged me tight and slowly her tears stopped and she started smiling. God! What am I going to do now?

Adrita's POV

As I went near KFC to eat chicken, I saw a very familiar guy standing in the counter. That mother lucker (Censored due to children reading this content) how dare he acts like a saint and hid the entire truth from me.

Think he is an angel to sacrifice his love for me? When he noticed that I was there, I grabbed his collar and gave him a slap. As he was standing mesmerised by my brutality, I went to his manager and asked him to send that idiotic ass home.

I pulled Sam out of the shop and made him sit in front of me near the food corner area. I could see that he had clearly no idea of what’s going on perhaps downright scared. Well he should be! How dare he plans to leave me all of a sudden after convincing that he loved me for eight years!

“Adrita you know I’m sorry… I had a reason to do that… it was not my intention to leave you or..”

“Well shut up your bloody mouth. I very well know what happened between you and Richie that day. Before leaving me, he blurted out everything that happened in the hospital when my brother was hospitalised”

“I thought you and Richie were made for each other so I”

Before he could complete, I took a tumbler full of water in front of me and splashed it at his face. Gosh why am I so angry today!

After I noticed that people were taking notice of us, I cooled down and apologized to him. Infact I literally bursted out crying in front of him. I told him all the things which had happened between me and Richard.

“Who is she Adrita?”

“I don’t know… She is a girl who studies in his college. I found that she was nagging behind him all the time in college”

“But Richie liked you right….”

“Yes everything was fine but one day she came in the middle when we were dealing with a small fight and that bisch made me so angry that I slapped and started cursing her”

“You should definitely need to control your temper Adrita”

“I know… I even went to a psychologist for anger management classes but by that time Richie……”

I started crying again. I’m either crying or staying angry all the time! Something is terribly wrong with me. After I cried my heart out, I saw the guy who sacrificied his love just because I loved Richard. I have no regrets now!

I held Sam’s face and kissed him. It was a little salty because I know my tears had well mixed with them. As I tried to kiss a little longer, he pushed me.

“Why Sam? You love me right? I know you do”

“Well I……”

Before he could speak anything, I squeezed him tight. Ah! How good it is to feel loved after a long time. I spent some time with him and found that his parents had divorced.

“I’m so sorry for your mother Sam. I really am. Is there some way in which I could help you?”

“No Adrita! I’m fine. Infact I’m earning since I’m working here”

“Oh okay! I wish I could help baby but my parents already spent a lot for my education and now I got a seat in PSG tech. I’m going to study there”

“That’s ok Adrita… I’m so happy for you”

I smiled at him. What a wonderful guy I have!
