Chapter-XIV

Hey guys! Yash here… It’s really nice to meet you after a very long time. Thanks for all the support you gave towards me and Shalini. I hope you will like and support my daughter Sasha as well.

Yash’s POV

I was very upset seeing my girl sad so I thought that I could do something to help both of them. I tried calling Sam’s phone. A girl picked up my call.

“May I know who this is?”

“Is this Sam’s phone? I’m his friend Sasha’s father”

“Sasha? I think you have dialled the wrong number. This is my sim number starting from today”

“Are you by any chance Adrita?”

“Well yes! How do you know?”

“I need to speak with you. Can you come to my home or can we meet somewhere else?”

“Huh I don’t know the place where you are staying. Plus I’m busy getting things ready for the college which would start soon”

“Ok send me your address so that I can visit you..”

After she texted me back, I left alone in my car for visiting her house. As I entered the house, a girl opened the door and stood surprised.

“Are you by any chance Yash the musician who went abroad and composed film music?”

“Yeah I guess…”

“I’ve heard a lot about you and even seen some video of yours. Come inside and make yourself comfortable. OMG I’m so excited”

I smiled because I never knew I was that famous in my place. Well anyway…. Doing music for one Hollywood movie is really worth it. I went and sat on the sofa.

“Are you Adrita?”

“Yes…. How come you know my name?”

“I’m Sasha’s father”

“What the……..”

She looked completely stunned as if she had seen a ghost. I spoke about all the things which were bothering Sasha to her.

“Did your daughter... I mean Sasha loved Sam? I didn’t know about that…..”

“Well I think when Sam left you with Richard; he fell for Sasha I guess. You also love him right?”

“Yes I did but he never told me anything that he loved Sasha or…..”

“Well Adrita according to what my daughter told, I found out that Sam sacrificed his love for you because he thought you loved Edward and when you came back again after breaking your relationship with him, Sam couldn’t do anything more I guess…..”

“You mean Richard….. Uncle…. Well… I didn’t know anything about this. I feel very bad right now. I should have asked Sam about his feelings before jumping into conclusions that he loved me still….and….”

She started crying. Her parents were not at home it seems. I tried my best to console her.

“You are not speaking with Richard also right….”

“Uncle I’m so sorry… I totally messed up. Richard got another girl in college so I thought I could be with Sam again because I thought he loves me….”

Adrita started crying again. I went near and patted her gently. Ah! Young love…

“You know what? Sam still has feelings for you. That’s why he’s not able to choose between you or my daughter Sasha. I see you as my daughter as well dear Adrita. If you love Sam and if you feel that you know what the right thing to do is, let me know. I’ll talk with Sasha about it”

“Take my phone simcard uncle. It belongs to Sam. I got it from him. I know that you are planning to meet him as well. So when you get there tell him that I don’t love him anymore but will always be there as a frie……”

She started crying again. I took the simcard and looked at her till she calmed herself down.

“Tell Sasha that I’m so sorry and ask her to forgive me if she can. I hope Sam and Sasha stay together atleast….Can I call Sam instead and tell him to meet you at your home? That area is pretty crowded with traffic and if someone finds out that you are Yash, then it will be a problem”

“Very well then.. Thank you so much dear. I’ll take my leave. I will meet you again soon. You can come and visit our house anytime. I’m sure Sasha will be happy to see you”

I smiled at her and left. As I drove myself home, I was wondering how love can be so twisted yet beautiful. Sasha sacrificed her love for Sam because of Adrita, Sam sacrificed to Richard because of Adrita, now let’s see if Sam is ready to sacrifice for my daughter.

As I reached home, my daughter ran towards me and gave a hug. I smiled.

“Dada dada what happened?”

“Sasha Sasha nothing happened”

“Hey not fair…. Tell me know pretty please?”

“Wait dear… your boyfriend will come here soon enough and I have some pretty big advices to give”

Adrita’s POV

As I was doing some random stuff, a car entered our house. I was shocked to see a man wearing a pink Tshirt and blue jeans with good looking puma shoes. That guy is Yash! He’s a celebrity known for his music…

Damn! I opened the door before pinching myself whether it was a dream or not.

“Hey are you Adrita?”

“Yes….”

“I’m Sasha’s father… Nice to meet you”

“What the…”

I stood shocked glancing at him top to bottom. I realised that he was very much similar to Sasha…I mean she is her daughter so she takes his resemblance afterall!

He told about things which I didn’t hear about. Sasha loved Sam when I was in love with Richie? I was crying all the time but Yash made me feel so comfortable.

“Can I call you uncle?”

“Yes you can dear Adrita… you are like a daughter to me as well”

After he said all the things I realised that I had done something horribly wrong. Why did I get back with Sam just because Richie had a fight with me? I felt so bad.

“Uncle Give this simcard to Sam and tell that I don’t love him anymore. Ask him to be true with Sasha. I’m still willing to be with him but only as a friend”

"Are you sure?"

“Yes in fact I’ll call him now and ask him to meet you at your house. This will be my last call with him as a boyfriend”

“You are a sweet girl Adrita!”

After he left, I called Sam and told that Yash uncle was eagerly waiting to meet him. Before he could cut the call, I said those words which came from my heart and switched the phone off before my eyes exploded with tears.

“Thanks for loving me Sam. You were the best thing that ever happened to me… I will be there for you always…………………………as a friend!”
