Solas leaned on his right arm while sitting on his throne in Genesis. He was looking over Draco. The fortress was cloaked so nobody could see them.
He had memories come back to him of when he announced himself to the world nearly five thousand years ago. Flashes of dragons, lighting, death and Aaron fighting him. The other Eight watched in fear before running. He sighed, he regretted it. He wished there was another way, but it had be that way.
Then his elite guards, The Dark Angels dragged Zelous in. He was properly defeated, beat to an inch of his miserable life. He tried speaking but only blood came out. "Well, did you think it was smart to disobey me human?" He shook his head 'no'. "From now on, you WILL obey me." Solas pulled the long hair hard, Zel quietly screaming in pain. "The next time you have a thought, I will kill you very slowly." Then yanked out a dagger and cut off the hair. When Solas could not cut any more, he burned the cut hair leaving only stubble. "You will always be my slave." He waved for The Dark Angels to remove the near lifeless body. Tomorrow was going to be a big day. Even Zelous would need his rest.
The massive army of the Empire gathered at the Kingdom of Draco. The whole fleet and land troops kept pace. The sun was just rising over the horizon as the mass of twenty thousand bodies moved as one. They had many weapons and the armor was thick. Zel and Eve watched from the Command Ship. Both wore matching gold armor, he had a claymore and she with two katanas. They both would go and join the army when the Paladin and Sam appeared.
Secretly, Zel hoped Colin would show up just so he could kill him too, but Solas ordered him not to worry about Colin.
When the fleet was safely over the city the rest of troops were deployed. They started to go house to house looking for any sign of rebels. They quickly realized that there was not one soul in the whole of the city. The people of the city had all left over night.
Suddenly a noise came from the far end of the city all guns were raised to meet it. The noise was getting loader and faster, some men got fearful and panicked until a pack Val-or came running by making a cry for help. The troops who saw this shrugged or laughed. Now they were relaxed and off guard, many had their weapons pointed down.
Soon the main body of the army reached the palace. They were confused, but relaxed. They may have just won the war without killing anyone else. Some started to remove their helmets. Sudden movement in the giant doorway made them look.
A heavily armored man walked out into the sunlight. All of the soldiers lifted their rifles while three walked up to arrest him. In a blink of the eye, the sword was drawn and all three were cut down. With another swipe, a wave of energy was unleashed killing many. Matt raised Oath Keeper with a yell and the rebels came pouring out from behind him and started the final battle.
Zel smiled, the rebels were going to make this too easy. The fools were gathered in the central square, the most open area. He was about to give the order to open fire from the fleet when the cruiser next to his exploited. After recovering from the shock wave, he saw the rebels had fighters in the sky picking his fleet out of the sky. He had no choice but to get his own out there and have his canons spilt on the targets. The battle now was going to be harder and longer than he had hoped.
The assault rifle Matt had ran out of ammo. He threw it at a soldier and drew Oath Keeper again. A blast nearby reminded him that the biggest threat was the fleet. Even though Colin got his old fighter squads back, they could not take them all down without a huge cost. Soon, that would change. Oath Keeper was glowing a bit for his attack he had planned for the capital ships. He ducked under a sword and kept fighting.
Two minutes pasted and Sam was covered in blood. Her armor shone red and her daggers dripped. She was not used to fighting this long. She ducked behind a door to drink some healing potion and spotted Matt. She ran him, was also nearly covered all in blood, she panted. "Where are they? They should be here." He shook his head. "YOU said that they would be here by now!"
