Once I finished getting ready, I headed out the door and spotted the Bellas in Amy and Stacie's room.

"Hey, I'm all set." I said and they all turned to look at me.

"So, what took you so long?" Beca asked me teasingly. I blushed bright red.

"Um, I had to take care of some stuff." I said without looking at any of the Bellas. We headed drained pool then Beca turned to face us.

"Alright, let's remix this business. Um... Aubrey, would you pick a song for us, please?" Beca asked Aubrey,

"Bruno Mars, Just The Way You Are." Aubrey said with a smile.

"Okay. Um... Chloe, are you okay to take the lead?" Beca asked Chloe.

"Yeah." Chloe said. After that, we started singing a mash-up of Just The Way You Are and Just A Dream.

Play song- "Just The Way You are and Just A Dream Pool Mash-up."

"Hands in." Aubrey said once we finished.

"One, two... Ahhhh." We actually got it right but Chloe hit a low note.

"What was that?" Amy asked her.

"I don't know, I've never made that sound before." Chloe admitted.

"Yo, but with your messed up vocal cords, you could hit the bass notes." Cynthia suggested.

"Do you know what that means? Yes Lilly?" Aubrey said while Lilly raised her hand and stood in the middle of our circle.

"I think I have something that could help us out." She said in a normal voice.

"Excuse me bitch, you don't need to shout." Amy said. And we laughed altogether as we made our way out of the pool while discussing all our ideas.

***** THE NEXT DAY *****

We met up extra early today since we haven't had a set list ready yet and Finals were this weekend. I was currently talking to Beca about my brother.

"So, did you and Jesse make up?" I asked her as I ate a sandwich.

"No. He asked me why I push everyone who could possibly care about me away. I told him I didn't know, He told me to figure it out because he was done with whatever we were." She told me with a sad smile.

"I'm sorry. Jess is always like that but he's really a big fluffy teddy bear on the inside." I told her with a grin. Suddenly, a brilliant idea struck me.

"I just figured out a way to get my brother to forgive you." I said as I explained to her my idea. She just grinned at me and we put our plan into action.

***** DAY OF THE FINALS *****

I was nervous. We were already in Lincoln Centre and I was currently sitting side by side with Jesse. He was wearing a polo shirt and some pants with his Trebles blazer and I was wearing black heel converse, a black skirt and a navy blue polo shirt with my Bellas scarf tied around my wrist.

"So, Jesse, any progress between you and Beca?" I asked him teasingly.

"I don't know, Adds. She keeps shutting me out. I should probably just give up." He admitted.

"Jess, in all our 18 years of living, I've never known you to be the quitting type. When you want something or someone, you work hard and do your best to get it. Don't give up on her, okay?" I told him and smiled.

"I love you, big bro." I told him as he pulled me into a hug.

"I love you too, Adds." He said. He was then called over by the Trebles because they were up next. I walked up to Donald and placed my arms around his waist.
