. Prolouge: Meo's P.OV.
"Just do what your instincts tell you, Meo." He breathed in my ear as we walked up the dirt pathway to a familar farmhouse. The dry, painful burning in my throat that was quickly growing into my mouth. I was distracted by that raging fire from everything but my blood thirsty thoughts. I needed one thing and one thing only: blood. Nothing else would soothe the wildfire that consumed my mouth.
The scent of something sweet grew stronger with each step we took. Every nerve of mine went on edge. All my muscles tighened up, ready to go on an animalistic pounce. A foul-tasting, bitter liquid filled my mouth like saliva. Multipe rythmic, pulsing noises filled my ears. How many was it? One? Two? No, it was three. Each beat my teeth started to ache along with my tensed body in anticipation and excitement. I practically flew to the farmhouse as Daray floated behind me. We stopped at the door. I looked at him, impatiently waiting for directions.
"I know what you want to do. What you need to do." He whispered. I needed to kill. I needed that blood. I took a deep breath, recieving three overwhelmingly sweet scents. "Knock on the door." Knowing it was okay, I did as he said. My muscles twitched with anticipation. I wanted to burst through the door and get my blood. My first somewhat humane thought drifted through my head at that moment. It's wrong to kill. But it didn't stay long as I could hear hurried footsteps coming towards the door.
Then the door opened, relieving me on my wait. My blood was to come from this middle aged woman. She was wearing a plain green, tattered dress witha stained white apron and laced up black work boots. Her black hair was in a long braid. She had familar dark brown, motherly eyes but all I could think about was watching the light leave those eyes after I ripped out her throat. I wanted to have the blood that coursed through her veins into mine.
"Meo!" She exclaimed, in a heavy Italian accent. Tears were falling down her face. I was confused by those cascading tears. I didn't know this lady. Why was she crying? Before I could comteplate why or even kill her, two younger girls came running up. They looked to be sixteen and ten. They had wavy black hair and matching friendly brown eyes. The youngest jumped into my surprised arms and squealed. "You're back, brother!" Her warm, olive skin sent out the monster in me. I lost it all. My teeth sunk into her warm, pulsing neck. Every bit of humanity I had before was overshadowed by that loose monster. I continued draining her, ignoring the fact that her fighting body became limp. Once there was no more left, I dropped her cold body on the ground. The burn was contained to my throat now and I felt stronger than I ever had before. That was when I noticed the other two screaming.
"Do you want more? You can have more." He whispered, persuasively into my ear. Without a word, I drank them both. After I was finished, the burn was completely satisified and the monster slunk back into the shadows. I looked down at them, horrified by what I had done. Then I looked up at the farmhouse. It was all so familar and it didn't hit me as to why until I saw a swing hanging from a tall oak tree. This was my home. They were my family. My mother and my sisters. I killed them. I fell to my knees, crying.
"No, no." I repeated through sobs.
"You'll get over it soon enough." He remarked as stared down at their bodys. A look of disguist contorted his face as he kicked my mother's leg out of his way. My emotions changed in a split second. Guilt and sorrow transformed into homicidal rage.
"You did this!" I yelled. My voice echoed through the trees. I grabbed him and pinned him to the stone wall, shattering the sheet thin windows. "You put those thoughts in my head." Then I fell back to my knees in excruiating pain. My body lapsed into uncontrollable thrashing as waves of pain cascaded over me. I stared into his cold, heartless black eyes that hid behind his silver blonde hair.
"I did nothing. You're the monster." He said, under my screams. Then everything went black.
This is a new story idea I have. I just wanted to try it and see what I can I do with it. I hope y'all like. Give feedback and vote and fan if you like!
