Acnologia's pov
I landed on an island I spotted from the sky and changed to my human form. Moving my cape, I looked at the wound that had been made by the dragon that had bit into my side. I had killed the dragon but the injury was a pain and I needed it to heal before doing anything else.
I looked around the island I was on and saw that it begun to slope up from the sea line. I walked up, knowing that it would be easier to spot anyone approaching from higher up. I got to the top and saw an old shrine, a statue of a girl with fox features and three tails at the front with a name carved in the stone, a few vines covering the writing.
I moved the vines and looked at the writing. "Miyako" I read aloud. "Beautiful night child" I added under my breath, remembering what it stood for. I looked up at the statue which was covered in moss and vines, clearly showing that no one had come to clean the shrine in a long time.
I looked at the building behind it, the inside cloaked in darkness. "Perfect. I can stay in there until my wound heals" I whispered to myself. I walked up to the building, pushing open the old wooden doors that were only open by a crack. The moment I opened them, I caught the smell of another presence.
"Who's there?" I growled, covering my hand in magic. A few seconds after I had yelled that, I sensed a dark presence in the building. I looked all around but saw nothing but darkness.
Suddenly something leapt on me and hit my cheek. I growled and went to punch whoever hit me and hit something, sending it back to the other end of the building.
I saw an unlit candle and grabbed it, lighting it and using it as a means of light, I shone it in the direction of my attacker as I saw the shape of someone with three tails and animal ears before they disappeared.
I looked around, prepared to fight back against whoever was there. I suddenly felt something hit my back and hands around my neck as I dropped the candle, hands flying up to my attackers as I tried to pry then off my neck.
I got them off and threw them out the door as they tumbled back. I quickly ran and pinned them to the ground as they fought back, grabbing the side of my head and hitting it into the ground.
Before I could act again, pain shot through my injured side as I let out a roar of pain and looked down. In place of my attacker was a three tailed fox that had bit into my injured side.
I grabbed one of the tails and threw it into the stone statue as it lay limp at the base. I wiped blood from the side of my mouth, waiting to see if it was just faking it.
I went to stand up when I was pushed onto the ground and something put around my wrists. I punched whoever jumped on me in the face and they backed up but the sound of metal rattling together rung through my ears.
I looked down and saw chains around my wrists as I looked back up and growled. "What did you do?" I snapped, looking at the person who held the end of the chains.
A sickly smirk broke out across their face as they stared at me. "You belong to me now. Wether I keep you as a pet or kill you, I'll decide" she replied, tails swishing.
"I'm not a pet and I don't belong to anyone" I growled, trying to pry the chains off my wrists. She tugged at them, making me go forward as I just managed to catch myself from falling into the ground.
"Back off fox girl" I snapped. "I'm a kitsuen. Not a fox. See the multiple tails" she replied, pointing to her tails. I looked between her and the statue and saw that they looked almost exactly the same other than their outfits and the Scar across the person in front of me's left eye. "Your Miyako aren't you" I asked, looking her over.
Now that I could properly take in her appearance I could see a few things about her. She had quite messy black hair that turned red half way through and had a weird spiral which also turned dark red halfway down. She had three tails which were black with dark red tail tips. She had black fox ears with red tips and red inner fluff. The eye that I could see was an even darker red than her hair with a stripe the same shade coming from the corner of her eye and a Scar right up the inner side of her eye. She was very tanned from the looks of her skin and wore no shoes. She had a grey crop top that had no straps and grey shorts with dark grey on them and a red scarf tied around her waist. The final thing I noticed was the necklace that had the black gem in the middle. (It looks grey in the picture but it's supposed to be black)
"How do you know my name?" she asked, eyes narrowed. "It's on the statue over there" I replied, nodding my head towards the statue. "I have a question for you. Why aren't you scared?" I asked.
"Of you. Don't make me laugh. You barely posed any threat in a fight against me" she laughed. "I'm Acnologia. Soon to be dragon King" I told her.
"You don't look like a dragon" she told me. "I changed forms. I'm not going to be on an island as a dragon when I don't want to be seen" I snapped back. She laughed. "What's so funny?" I growled.
"You may be a dragon but I am a god. A kitsuen god as a matter of fact" she replied. "If your a god, where are your worshippers?" I asked. "There dead of course" she replied. Before pulling on the chains and making me come closer to her.
Due to how close we were, her scent was going right up into my nose and I could pick up on the same dark scent as I had in the building. "Come now Acnologia. As my prisoner, I must keep you close to me" she explained, pulling the chains so that I was forced to follow.
'I'm going to get out of these chains and kill you' I thought, a growl in my throat.
