"Come on." Said Benedict as he ran down the stairs and looked at you as were sat on the sofa. "Where are we going?" You asked him as he began putting his jacket on.

"We're going for a walk." He stated as he threw your jacket. Currently in England, you were experiencing a bit of heat wave, which is rare, even in summer.  The two of you headed out and he took your hand as you walked down the street together. Tonight, the streets were quiet. Most people would be having barbecues in their gardens or sat in a beer garden surrounded by their friends and family. However, tonight it was jut you and Benedict, they way you both liked it.

You took a small footpath, one that you both knew very well. It was the footpath that led down to the beach. "You have to admit." He started, gripping tight hold of your hand. "This is quite romantic, to say that I'm not usually a romantic person." You laughed as you began walking on the sand on the beach.

The air was clean and fresh, filled with the smell of sea salt. The shimmering light of the sunset reflected on the grains of sand.  As you walked along the beach, side by side, you heard the waves of the ocean hitting one another.

Benedict stopped you. "I must tell you..." He began. "There's another reason that I brought you down here tonight."

"Oh really? And what would that be?" You asked. He smiled at you before pulling a small box out of his jacket pocket. Continuing to hold your hand, he got down on the sand, on one knee.

"Benedict..."

"(Y/n). I love you. I have been in love with you since the first day I met you. Will you do me the honour, of becoming my wife?"

"Oh my god...Benedict." You cried. "Yes. Of course I'll marry you." He placed the ring on your finger as he got up and kissed you.

"You have made me the happiest man alive."
