"Say goodbye to mummy." Benedict says as he holds onto your daughter, (D/n).

"Bye-bye." She said, leaning over to kiss you while still in Benedict's arms.

"Goodbye my darling." You smiled before Benedict turned slightly so that he could kiss you. When he did your daughter laughed and said "eww!"

"I love you babe. Don't work too hard." He told you as you told him and (D/n) to have fun and that you'd see them later.

For you, the whole day would brag by but for Benedict it would be a day to remember. He and (D/n) played together. He sat through tea parties, where the guests were inanimate objects and various dolls and the only type of tea that was being served was air.  He placed her on his feet and danced around the room with her. He had to bend down so that she wasn't reaching up. He chased her around the rooms, played hide and seek, watched ridiculous children's television.

He even went so far as baking, which, he did not believe was bad for a first attempt. He'd do anything for this daughter and for his wife. He loved them more than anyone else in the entire world. As the two of them had spent the whole day playing, they were too exhausted to hear that you had returned home later that evening.

When you arrived the house was quiet, except from the sound of a child's television programme. You walked into the living room, only to see that (D/n) was lay on the floor, fast asleep and Benedict was asleep on the sofa. Like he had always said; "Parenting tip number one; Sleep when they sleep."

You sat down next to him and kissed him on the head. He stirred. "Hey baby." You whispered as he opened his eyes to see you. "Hey." He smiled. "How was work?"

"It was okay but I was desperate to get back home to you two." You placed your head on his chest. "It looks like you had a fun. I guess that I'll have too leave you two alone more often for these daddy-daughter days."

"I guess so. But not for a while. I think I need to sleep for the next month with the things that I've done for that girl today." He laughed before switching over the TV to something that he hadn't already watched a million times today.
