Chapter Fourteen

Lucy wondered for a moment who might be the alpha and omega in each of these new relationships...

She knew the obvious would be Minerva, Kagura, and Rogue as the alphas.

They just had that down to earth quality that would calm their rather rowdy Mates.

But...

One could never be sure of things when it came to Mating Season.

Kagura felt so weird...

It was as if...

Well...

It was as if physical affection...

Wasn't too bad.

That's so weird.

She'd always hated that...

She looked over at Millianna.

The cat-like girl smiled at her.

"So..." Millianna smirked at her.

Kagura raised an eyebrow.

"Are you my girlfriend?" She asked.

Kagura blushed deeply.

Millianna moved a bit closer to her.

"I-um-I.... Yes?" She said it as a question.

Millianna giggled and curled up next to Kagura, grabbing onto her arm.

"Yay!" Millianna cried happily.

Kagura glanced down at where Millianna was holding onto her.

Suddenly that weird feeling had eased.

She smiled a bit and let out a breath.

Millianna looked back at her and raised an eyebrow.

Kagura ignored that expression.

She didn't know what was happening to her either, so she couldn't exactly explain it to her f-girlfriend.

She grinned goofily.

That one word made her feel fifteen times better.

"Girlfriend." She whispered.

Kagura had to even meant to say it out loud.

Millianna looked over at her and grinned.

"Girlfriend!" She said happily, bouncing up and down in her seat.

Kagura grabbed onto Millianna's hand and suddenly found herself looking down at it.

Well... she hadn't meant to do that...

But it felt nice...

Millianna looked down at their hands and smiled.

"Never thought you'd be so affectionate..."

Neither did I... Kagura found herself thinking.

Yukino and Minerva sat in their respective beds in their shared room.

There was an awkward silence between them that had been there since they had first kissed.

"Minerva... are we... okay?" Yukino asked, glancing at the slightly taller Sabertooth Mage.

Minerva looked over at her.

She twiddled her thumbs for a minute.

"I... I guess."
