"Sometimes things go wrong, things go very wrong the only thing that's left to do is pushing yourself right back up." -none other than me, ElectroEla
Chapter 2:
I have an older sister, she's doesn't deal with the grief like me. She wasn't there when the accident happened, she was over at a friends house. We used to be close friends too, instead of just sisters me and Elisa. Now she acts like a rebel all the time, the thing is my mom doesn't see that. She think Elisa and her are best friends. Elisa doesn't mind, mom doesn't yell at her all the time and mom uses all her money to get Elisa different hair dyes or whatever. I never get anything, that's why I never go shopping with them. It hurts to look at everything I would love to wear, like shoes and dresses. It hurts to see that my mother doesn't look at me like a human being who just lost her father.
Everything hurts
All the timeI stare at the wall in front of me as I sit on my not so comfortable bed.
Someone starts to open the door, I quickly grab my computer and go to google pretending I'm actually looking at something.
"Hey Charles, are you looking up inspirational crap stuff all 5 year olds usually look up?" Elisa raises an eyebrow, a smirk forming at her lips.
I don't know what to do so I type exactly what she says:
Inspirational stuff
Eliminating the "crap" part. I can't let her catch me doing nothing, she'll tell mom and mom will then somehow think that's important and make me do the laundry or something."Yep yep, exactly," I respond nodding my head.
"Bye kid!" She turns and leaves.
I suddenly get curious of why 5 year olds would even look at this stuff and go to the images. Maybe a dragon or princess will come up.
"Only you can change your life, no one else can do it for you." -Carol Burnett
"Don't be afraid of being different, be afraid of being the same as everyone else"
"This year I will be stronger, braver, kinder, unstoppable and this year, I will be fierce"
Oh god, I just love that so much , that last one. I don't have to be grumpy and cry all day, I, I, I can change that!
No dragons or princesses
"If an opportunity doesn't knock, build a door"
Oh I get this one, for example you know how I don't want to go shopping with my mother and sister because I can't see the things I desperately want. I can make my own money, I can babysit or do this peer tutoring thing at school where you get paid.
That's it!
I can tutor someone in history, my favorite class may I say. Once again.Ding

DingWhose calling me now?
I check the caller IDLyla Rimond
Oh one of the girls who sit next to me in lunch. Probably wants to know the math homework or something like that.
"Hey," I answer the phone"Hey Charlie, sorry if I'm bothering you but I just wanted to know if you'd be interested into coming over to my house tomorrow after school. Until 8, all the girls at our lunch table will be there and we are going to have so much fun!!" She goes on and on.I shrug my shoulders, why not it's not like I have anything better to do.
"Um sure, just text me your address," I say
"Okay byeeee," she ends the call. I don't bother texting my mom, she's probably going shopping Elisa.
It's not even 7 pm yet but I can clearly see how dark it is when a unfamiliar car drives up to the house next door to us. They have their flashlights on.Nobody lives there, so they're probably moving in.
A woman gets out of the front seat and yells something, a boy about my age steps out from the seat right next to her.
Where's their father?
The boy yells too, but not to the mother. It isn't clear yet to who's he's yelling at.
Then finally a girl comes out, she looks my age too but maybe older. She has dark almost black hair with a pale face. I can't tell the color of her eyes though.
The boy has dark black hair, quite long at the front, he seems to be hiding himself under his hair. A pale face too, can't see his eye color either.
The boy looks up directly at my window, he smiles as I quickly try to close the curtain. I shut the light and go to sleep.
I'll worry about this in the morning.Authors note:
