CHAPTER 20

Almost 12 hours to go before New Year!  HAPPY NEW YEAR MY FELLOW YAOI FANS!!  thank you so much for reading and appreciating my first fan fiction.. 😊😊😊 I am so thankful and happy!! Beam just keep silent for a second and slowly nod. I smiled and turned my attention at the tv. We just stayed like that until the show ends.

The show already ends but I couldn’t let go of Beam’s hand. He’s not complaining about it anyway. The silence was awkward but also overwhelming.

“Do you want to eat something, Forth?” Beam broke the silence. I just looked at him with a smile and nodded.

He get a piece of apple and feed me. I was startled at first but gladly accepted it. Who am I to refuse such opportunity anyway?  He continued feeding me until the last piece of apple.

When he feed me the last piece, I opened my mouth to take it and bite it along with his finger gently. His eyes widened with my action and pulled his finger back at once.

I just looked at him deeply like I was memorizing every little detail of his face.

He tried to avoid my eyes at first but later on he decided to meet mine. We stared at each other like we were on a staring contest.

I couldn’t help but to smile as I saw every characteristics of his face. His cool hairstyle, His dark and thick brows, his deep set brown-colored eyes that shines, his pointed nose, his thin pinkish lips that never been touched by a cigarette, his cute cheeks, his perfect jawline, and his perfect flawless neck.

“I love you Beam.” I suddenly said.  He seemed surprised as his cheeks flushed red.

“I love you Beam.” I repeat.

“w..what the heck are you saying so sudden?!” he tried to pull away from me but I held both his hand and made him face me.

“Do you love me too Beam?? Do you still love this bastard and jerk in front of you?” I said as I bit my lower lip hard.

I got the courage to ask first. to open up this topic first despite the fact that I am scared. I am terrified of what will be Beam’s answer. I am afraid that Beam will push me away.

Beam looked away from me and I swear I can already feel some blood on my lip from biting it hard.

“N..No.”

“Beam…”

"No…”

I cupped his face and made him look at me straight in the eyes.

I looked into his eyes like I was watching myself in a mirror.

“Look at me, Beam. And tell me that.”

He bit his lower lip harder.

“the truth is…” Beam started to talk.

“the truth is I already forgive you. how can’t I, anyway? No matter what, like you’ve already know, I couldn’t get mad to you for so long.”

“But even though I already forgive you. It’s not the thing that’s holding me back…

It is the pain.” He said and looked at me in the eyes again. There I saw his eyes trembled. Like it is filled with helplessness and fear.

“It took a very long and hard time before I accepted who I am, why I am like this, and if It’s really true that I am nothing but a disgrace. Just because I love a man that is truly outside the norm.”
