Topher Shows His True Colors

The day had finally come Connie had finished the rehab program and was coming home. Phil had got Millie back to Connie's place all ready and she unpacked stuff back at home and Phil,Bubbles and Amber even tidied the house a little so Connie could come home to a clean sugar free house. Bubbles decided to get a little celebration supper together being Connie was planning to bring her new boyfriend Topher over to meet everyone as well. Phil got very weirded out and was suspicious at her meeting someone from a rehab and hoped that this guy was gonna be in a good place and good for her.

"Hey uncle Phil,Auntie Bubbles?" Millie turned to Phil and Bubbles as she had got everything back together in her bedroom.

"Hey kid what's up" Phil said smiling

"I-Uh just wanna thank you for being there and taking care of me while mom was away. I don't know what I would have done without you guys." Millie said doing her best not to cry

"Aww it's no sweat really you're my best friends kid. You are like my own and I would do anything for you kid" Phil said as he patted her back and head as Bubbles went hugged Millie.

"I'm excited and happy to have my mom coming back and I can't wait but I'm gonna miss you guys" Millie said as she hugged Phil as well.

"Oh Millie I'm going to miss you too but hey you know we are always a call and quick drive away if something happens. I love ya kid and am here and always will be" Phil said rocking her back and forth

"I love you too Uncle Phil" Millie said as she smiled and kissed his and Bubbles cheek. "And thanks for the support as well Amber" Millie said as she hugged Amber as well.

"Aw of course!" Amber said hugging back.

"Oh Topher, I cannot wait for you to meet my kids and my friends" Connie said as she and Topher just pulled up and parked at her apartment building after a two hour drive from the rehabilitation centre.

"Hey, I'm just glad you're officially clean babe" Topher said

Connie and Topher soon arrive to the third floor of the building where her place was, Phil hears the doorbell and knows immediately that it was Connie Edwards.

"That's gotta be Edwards alright, Bubbles, sweetheart is dinner almost ready?" Phil asked

"Just about ready Phil" Bubbles responded as she was preparing a césar salad.

"Oh my God, I am so happy that Auntie Connie is actually fully clean and sober from Sugar." Amber said as she helped Bubbles in the kitchen

"And that she has a puppet boyfriend" Bubbles said winking

"Felt Fuckers!" The girls Squealed at the same time laughing

"Okay, okay you two, lets all take it easy" Phil said chuckling at them as he went to open the door and there stood Connie holding hands with Topher

"Edwards, good to see you again!" Phil said as he hugged her "Aw I'm so proud of you!"

"Thank you Hey, Phil. Thanks for keeping an eye on my family while I was gone. Oh and this is Topher, my new boyfriend." Connie said as she raced over to embrace Millie who squealed and ran to her.

"Well I am Pleased to meet you Detective Phillips" Topher said as he shook hands with Phil.

"Well technically I am a detective and I'm also a PI" Phil said. As Phil talked and looked at Topher he wasnt sure why, but he had an off feeling about him. Something that he could sense that in the years of being a cop it was definitely not really a good thing. Phil then walked into the kitchen as Topher followed after he met Connie's daughter and introduced his family.
