I wake up with a pounding headache. I lift my hand to touch my head. I quickly bring it back down once I feel a sharp pain course throughout my arm. I try sitting up but it hurts to move my body. Why do I feel so sore? I decide to just lie still. I cock my head to look around the room. About 10 feet away is a wall, above me was the ceiling with a single light bulb. To my left is another wall. I look across the room, nothing. It's empty. I'm in an empty room. Panic surges through my body. Where am I? There's no door, no way out, I'm in an enclosed room. no no no no. I must be dreaming. This HAS to be a dream. yea, I just have to go back to sleep and when I wake up I'll be in my room. I try and get comfortable on this bed I'm lying on. This hard, cold bed. Suddenly I realize I'm not lying on a bed, I'm on the ground. I start hyperventilating. I'm not dreaming am I? I hear noise. But from where? I look around, wincing at the pain that came from moving my head too fast. It's coming from outside the room. The noise is getting louder. Suddenly I hear a door unlocking across the room. A door! The door swings open and I squeeze my eyes shut, not daring to move a muscle. I force myself to steady my breathing. I must act as if I'm asleep, I'm scared to what will happen if I'm awake.
