Ariel and Erik

Chapter 6; Broken

Ariel felt something strange. She felt dried out. She woke, and saw a tail. She was still lying on the bed.

Someone walked inside and rolled her on a wheelchair. They rolled her to a pool. They dumped her inside, and she swam around.

"You were telling the truth." The doctor said. "This is an amazing miracle."

A woman walked beside him. "My name is Christine. I'll be looking over you."

"Christine? Thee Christine? As in Christine Daaé?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"You know Erik is here?"

"Yeah I know. I watch over him."

"Do you know how hurt he is? He has been here for years."

"Yes. I know."

Ariel swam underwater and got used to being surrounded by water. Eric came running inside.

"Ariel." He whispered. Ariel came swimming up, and she saw him standing above her. "I'm gonna get you out of here."

Eric kissed her. His lips so luscious and big pressed against hers.

Soon enough Ariel was just a normal human inside a pool of water. The doctor pushed Eric into the pool. He shouted at Eric. "You fool! We could have done all sorts of tests!"

"That's exactly what I was afraid of." He told the doctor.

"Haha! See I wasn't crazy!" Ariel shouted. Eric helped her out of the pool. He guided her out of the room.

"Eric, excuse me, but I have to do something." Ariel ran to her cell. She saw a man with a mask on half of his face. She opened the door. He turned around.

"What? Taking me for another brain test?" He laughed. He turned around and saw her. "Ariel, I'm sorry, I though you were-."

"Yeah, a doctor." She interrupted.

"I'm sorry." He walked over to her, and intertwined her hands with his.

"Ariel, the past day or so, I've been feeling something different. Ariel, when I saw you get electrocuted, I knew it was something surging inside of me. Something different that I felt, not with Christine." He kissed her on her cheek close to her lips.

"Erik, I-." He kissed her. His lips, her lips, their love. "Erik. I have to go." She ran off and saw Eric with Christine.

Him and her in the hallway kissing. They way he looked at her was different. It felt more real. Eric saw Ariel in the side of his eye. He walked towards her. She held up her hand. She ran off into the distance.

She ran away, far away. She ran to the other side of the asylum. She sat in a corner and cried. Footsteps followed. Eric chased after her.

"Ariel."

"I though I loved you!" She stood and yelled. "I traded everything I had for you!"

"And I owe you my life."

"I guess you're in debt than!"

"Ariel, I love you." Ariel calmed down. She sighed.

"Eric, I know how you feel." She looked far beyond Eric. "There is someone else too."

"Ariel, I love you-." She smiled.

"But not as strong." Her smile was still confident and big.

"It's that guy with the mask. Well...... i guess you have to get to your man."

"And you have to get to your girl." She said.

Ariel and Eric ran off into different directions.

Ariel slammed the cell door open. The man with the mask turned around. His eyes lit up. Her ran towards her.

"Ariel."

"Erik."

He lifted her, and kissed her.

Eric ran towards Christine and kissed her. The happy couple saw Erik and Ariel walk out of the cell. They all hugged.

"What a small world." Christine said. Everyone laughed and celebrated with a double date!
