For as long as she can remember, Angelina Smith has been surrounded by mutants. Her mother, Pandora, her two sisters, Scarlet and Sabrina, as well as her absent father, who takes on the infamous name Mister Glass, are all mutants, or in her father's keen, enlightening words: Superheroes.
Everyone closest to her possesses other worldly gifts. From fire manipulation, to regeneration, to being a master mind, each of the people she considers her family has something that makes them extraordinary. She, on the other hand, does not possess the mutant gene, nor that something special to make her anything but average. She isn't blessed with supernatural gifts, and isn't sure if she ever will have them.
As Angelina continues to grow, the dreams she used to wish for begin to develop into a distant memory. Reality creeps in, and she focuses on the dreams she is certain she can achieve without super strength or super speed. Dreams like her relationships, education, and perfectly normal future she has learned to accept. Her reality is soon cut short when it feels as if her life is spiraling out of control.
