After a Capri Sun and a strawberry pop tart I feel much better, more energized. The moment I step into the boarding house, Bree was beside me, her eyes growing to the size of bowling balls. "What happened?" She questions setting her hands on my shoulders, reading me instantly. "You gotta take it easy, Lina.. your body isn't used to using so much strength all at once."

"I'm fine, Bree," I chuckle, "really, just a bloody nose and low blood sugar." I explain to her briefly, trying to ease her worries.

"Just, try and slow down. We still don't know the full extent of your powers and what they could do to your body," she says uneasily, fiddling with the communication device in her hands.

I eye Romeo on the balcony, standing beside a worried-looking Jay. "How many kids did you a Jay count?"

"Sixty-two." She answers, "same as you, that brings us to a total of one hundred and twenty-four. Which means we have thirty-one students missing. Including Scar..," she sets her hands on her forehead an exhausted breath coming from her mouth before she turns to look at me. "Lina, what if she's hurt? Or- or worse? She's probably"-

"Hey, don't think like that," I tell her, setting my hand on her shoulder. "Scarlet will be fine. Really, Bree can you think of a time when she couldn't take care of herself? She's a firecracker. Literally. I feel bad for the person who tried to abduct her, they're probably begging for their life as we speak." Bree chuckles as I bring realization to her mind, making her think the best rather than the worst of our current situation.

"I guess you're right," she sighs, admitting that I'm right while the two of us walk up to the balcony alongside Jay and Romeo. Jay exhales when he sees the two of us, chuckling lightly, in hopes of a similar response.

"Hey guys, how're you holding up?"

Bree wraps her arms around my shoulder, "better. Thanks for asking."

"Of course," he sighs, looking over the sea of kids that still remain upbeat and happy, "they have no idea what's going on, do they?"

"Logan told them we're having a boarding school party before curfew," Bree mutters as a few kids pass by laughing as they chase one another. "We told them we're all having a sleepover."

"Where are they?" Romeo finally speaks up, "Logan, Ororo, and Carrie, where'd they go?"

"They're searching the perimeter," Bree answers, cautiously glancing back at the window that's behind us. "Making sure there aren't any threats on the property."
