Saying goodbye to this year is a mixed bag. I reached many personal milestones this year with writing, so I am thankful for everyone new and old who support me in making my dreams a reality.
Many family secrets were brought to light, causing me to question a lot of who I am and my life. I don't question one thing though, showing real-world issues through fictional eyes. It's easier to fall and fade into the pages of a book than face our demons head on, but that's my resolution.
A resolution I can keep...
...to stare at everything in the eye and take it head on, no matter how hard or scary it might seem.
