Dear Diary...

June 25th, 2017

I decided to go late at night. I know she's awake right now...Don't ask how I know. I just do. She would talk about it all the time during art...how she'd stay up really late for no reason. Her lights were on and her window was open. "Pst," I poked my head through her window. "Jesus Pete, you can knock too you know," she jumped. I smiled under the mask. "Come why don't I take you up to the roof instead of running up a couple flights of stairs," "Pete, I'm heavy," she chuckled. "Nothing I can't handle," "I'm not climbing out of a window," "C'mon I do it all the time," I chuckled. She rolled her eyes, turning her back to me and heading out to the stairs for the roof. "Stubborn..." I mumbled chuckling to myself.

"So what brings you back here?" Y/n asked. She was panting from running up the stairs. "I want to talk to you, I've thought a lot about what you said," She walked closer to me... "So you've thought about it," her face went serious. "I want to know the truth," She cupped my cheek. "You already know the truth," She pulled my mask off. Looking closely at my face. "You know the truth already, I've told you over and over again," "I want to hear you say it, as you mean it," I muttered. She smiled and looked back up at me. "I love you, Peter Parker," she poked my shoulder. "And only you," She smiled widely. "I believe you," I smiled. I picked her chin up. My eyes deeply stared at her (e/c) ones. "You going to kiss me or what," she chuckled. I smiled at her. Then that feeling came back. My heart raced. My face flushed. Just go for it. The voice in my head was screaming at me. Screw it... I went for it. I kissed her softly. My heart was beating so loud, drowning out the sound of the midnight traffic. What am I doing? Am I helping her trick me? But she said she loves me... She pulled away from me, I kept my arms wrapped around her. She was at a loss for words...and she was maybe gasping for air. I got carried away. "For a nerd, you're a damn good kisser," she smirked. "Whoa, who are you calling nerd?" I joked. "Oh sorry, is there something else I should call you?" she grinned widely. This is the girl I fell in love with. The goofball, yet sweet girl I knew from art. Not the social praise seeking girl I heard a couple months ago. I held her hand tightly. Her fingers locked with mine. "Hm let me think for a second..." she giggled at me. She leaned her forehead against mine. "Boyfriend sounds good to me," she sighed. "Fine with me.." I kissed her forehead. "Then it's settled? I don't want to leave next week without knowing," "Hm..." I sat jokingly acting as if I had to think about it. "Well, would you be my girlfriend?" "You're serious? Is that even a question?" I pecked her lips softly. "So I take that as a yes?" she raised an eyebrow at me. "No..." "What?" "I'm joking dumbass of course that's a yes," she chuckled. "Jeez Y/n you scared me for a second there," she held my hand tightly. "I try," she smirked. This is why I love her, she's goofy, yet smart. "How's your arm?" I asked to try and change the subject. "I'll be fine," She looked down to her arm. It was wrapped in a bandage. "Besides, I have you to keep me safe," she kissed my cheek. My face went pink. "I will always be here to keep you safe," I mumbled. She hugged me tightly. "I should go...My parents are probably freaking out that I'm not in my room," Her face went dark. With the blink of an eye. "Your window is still open right?" She nodded. I pulled the mask back over my head. "Hold on," "what?" I swung with her in my arms to a couple floors below. Bringing her back to her floor. Her window was open just as I found it when I got here. She slipped in through the window. "I'll see you before you leave?" "Deal," She smiled. I turned to go home but- "Wait Peter," She grabbed my free hand. She pulled my mask up enough for my lips and nose to be exposed...What is she doing? "Y/n what are you doing?" "Giving you a kiss goodbye," Well at least she's honest. Her lips grazed past mine, "I'll see you later on," I chuckled. She smiled as I pulled the mask and swung home. I love her so much...this better not be another trick.
