I fix the buttons on my shirt as I hear the bathroom door open. Toni walks out in a blue dress with her hair all curled. She looked beautiful. I smile and stare into her eyes as she walks closer to me, rubbing her arm slowly.
"It's not too much, right?" I walk up to her and wrap my arms around her waist, kissing her forehead.
"You look amazing." She giggles and places her head on my chest as we stand there in each other's arms. "We have to go now." She nods and I grab her hand, leading her out of the hotel room and to the elevator.
We leave the hotel and stop for a cab. As we wait to find one that is willingly wanting to stop, she grips my arms and leans into my side.
"You make me happy Chris." I never liked it when people called me that except my family and a few friends. But I loved the way it came out of her mouth. "I'm practically in love with you." We never really said I love you because she thought it was too soon.
"I love you Toni." I never really dated. I liked putting my time towards family and friends. But she was my everything. In a matter of months we became close. She became friends with my family and they all love her. My friends haven't really met her yet though.
"I love you too." She pecks my cheek as a cab pulls over and stops. We enter the cab and I tell him the place. Toni was to focused on the bright lights to hear what I was saying.
I planned on taking her to this hill that I heard a lot of people have picnics on. I ordered food to be delivered there and we have to be there first. I look over at Toni and hold her hand. She squeezes it and gives me a bright smile.
No matter what she has been through she is still happy. After her fathers murder and blaming herself, she seems to be happy with her life. I know she may feel bad still but it truly wasn't her fault. And never will be.
We stop at the hill and get out. Toni looks around confused and all I do is laugh at her. She pushes me softly and sits on the bench. I sit next to her and look up into the dark sky. The stars were out and the sun was almost completely down.
I watch as Toni takes her phone out and takes a picture of the sky. She smiles and turns the camera towards us. We both smile as she takes the picture. I see her post them on twitter and the one of us on Instagram.
A lot of people were actually happy we got together while some were upset because they wanted me. Well life doesn't work like that. I stand up as the delivery car stops and the guy gets out. I pay for the food and walk back over to Toni. I sit on the ground and open the pizza box.
Toni sits next to me and grabs a slice, opening her coke bottle he have us and sipping it. I smile at her as she looks up into the sky, eating her pizza slowly.
"This may be the best date I've ever been on so far." I chuckle as she looks over at me and lays back into the grass. I lay next to her and close the box, making sure our arms touch.
"I didn't actually know what to do." She laughs and leans her head on my shoulder, still looking up into the sky. "I just wanted to do something you would like." She smiles and scoots closer.
"Being with you is enough. But this is something." We end up finishing the pizza and getting a cab to the park. We run around and stop at the fountain. She takes her heels off and steps into the water. I laugh as she squeals from the contact.
"You're going to get sick!" She shrugs and walks closer to the edge, bringing me into the water. We fall under one of the spouts as water pours over us. She moves closer to me and smiles. I peck her lips multiple times before leaning my forehead on hers as water covers us both.
"I love you a lot." I smile and pick her up, bringing her out of the fountain and pick up her heels. We walk back to the hotel and change into something warm. I lay on the hotel bed as Toni lays next to me. Crawford lays in the bed next to us, playing video games on the ps4.
"I love you more." I finally say as she giggles and lays her head on my bare chest. I've gotten used to sleeping in the same bed that it feels right. I hold her against me and kiss her forehead. Hearing her small snores.
"I want a relationship like that." I laugh at Crawford who looks at me and smiles.
"One day little bro."
ANOTHER UPDATE! So I'm laying in bed right now on my phone. So you should like comment a book you recommend for me to read. I love you all so much!
