the thing that has this soft cloth is where i am right now. it was so comfortable that i don't want to end this feeling im having right now.

there was a voice asking me, "are you okay now?" that made me pull myself together and as i opened my eyes, i shook my head to the fact that i have been sleeping on his bed.

"you fell asleep the moment you stopped crying, you looked so tired that i let you use the bed for a while," he said to me while combing his hair.

i had no idea that i had slept for hours, and using the patient's bed isn't really applicable. "you should have waken me up," i said to him while getting off it.

"who would know that you'll sleep like a baby," he said darting his eyes from the ceiling to mine.

"seriously—what time is it?" i asked, trying to change the subject.

"it's past lunchtime," he said bluntly.

"did you eat?" i asked again.

"yes i did, i was going to wake you up but like i said you were sleeping peacefully," he answered with a small laugh.

"did i drool? well i was just checking..." i said while pausing the sentence, looking at his reaction.

"luckily, you didn't!" he said to me while holding his laugh.

"i'll eat my lunch here," i announced to him.

"can we go for a walk after you finish eating?" he said to me with his convincing eyes that made me agree in a split second.

"alright, you should move your joints a bit," i said as i nod at him in approval as i started to eat my food.

it didn't took me long enough to finish my lunch. i offered him my arm to assist him as i accompany him out of the room.

i'm afraid he might fall at any rate.

he's so tall that my height is only at his chest level. i was taller than him during fifth grade and now look who's short.

"thanks," he said as we continue walking.

"i feel like my body's really heavy after laying in bed for a month," he added while holding unto my arm.

"you don't have to thank me," i said.

after a few minutes of walking, we finally reached the rooftop. we sat on the bench and looked at the scenery.

"it's refreshing," he said while looking at the sun setting down.

i didn't dare to speak, instead i enjoyed watching the sunset. the scenery always make me calm and relaxed.

silence filled the whole place until he broke it.

"i wish I could get home soon," he said to me, pouting.

"we'll get out of here, trust me." i said to him trying to kick the sadness out of his face.

"it was all because of me, i'm sorry." i added.

"eunbi...don't be sorry, i might have done it to spend more time with you," he said to me sincerely.

"come on, you're joking," i replied, ignoring what he said earlier.

"maybe it is, really—i swear," he added, defending himself.

"you're not angry?" i asked him.

"no why would i?" he asked me back.

"i was the reason why you're here—" i was cut off as he turn to face me and seconds later, he wrapped me in a hug.

i was going to pull away when he spoke, "let's stay like this for a while, please." he said to me while resting his head on my shoulders.

he still haven't changed a bit. the same guy who's hugginng me right now is my best friend.

"jungwoo, you're heavy," i said to him.

"ya! i'm not!" he said as he let go off the hug while crossing his arms.

"we should go back, the mosquitoes might bite you and your skin will get damaged." i said to him as i offered my arm again.

"okay, let's go," he said while smiling.

he was almost close into tripping off, gladly i had catched him before he fell.

"be careful!" i said to him with full of caution.

"i was just testing you if you'd catch me if I fall," he said.

"who wouldn't? the hospital bills are waiting," i hissed at him while walking ahead of him.

"aright, alright i'm sorry." he said as he followed my pace.

i'm glad that you're gaining your strength back to joke around this much.

fighting, Jungwoo!
