Noah and Lollie sat at the dining table eating their breakfast.

"So? How's school?" Mariah asked.

The two youngest looked at each other and laughed.

"What? I'm being serious! I haven't really spoken to either of you."

"Then maybe if you didn't go to every football game, you would talk to us more." Noah said.

"That's really rude." Mariah said.

"It's true though. We haven't really talked to you since you and Jacob have been dating." Lollie said.

"His name is Thor." Mariah muttered.

The two siblings looked at each other.

"We got to go to school." Noah said.

"Let me take you!"

"It's okay. Don't you and Thor have some making out to do before school starts?" Lollie asked.

Mariah only scoffed.

Lollie and Noah looked at each other and laughed.

Today's going to be a good day.

"All through history, countries go to war. That's what we normally study in here. But today, we're going to talk about peace and forgiveness and how we get there. Every once in a while, I come up with a good idea." Mr. Matthews said.

"What could it possibly be that I haven't already thought of?" Farkle asked.

"Farkle, I forgive you."

"What did I do?"

Zay smiled, "I forgive you too."

"What did I do?!" Farkle asked.

"You know what you do." Noah said.

"I feel better now that I've forgiven you. How do you feel?"

"I'm sorry for every time I've hurt you! What did I do?!" He asked.

"Ladies and gentlemen, today we're going to begin the forgiveness project. Our history isn't just about what we've done. How we grow comes from the repair of what we've done and how we forgive what was done to us." Mr. Matthews said.

"Hmm. We're in. What do we do?" Riley asked.

"Everyone take out a piece of paper. So this isn't your laptop or your cell phone. You've got unlimited characters here. As many words as you want. The impact will last longer than six seconds. And I guarantee you, it's never going to disappear. So pick up a pen. Express feelings. This is one of the most important things you're ever going to do. You're about to forgive someone." Mr. Matthews said as he passed out cards.
